I've been having sort of a mental block as far as shoes are concerned. This is probably due to the business of the holidays and my inspiration to get back into all my old hobbies (drawing, sewing, baking, reading). Well, as I was making my tray of Christmas cookies, I finally found some inspiration. There I was, leaning against my counter, unwrapping Hershey Kisses like my life depended on it, when I realized how pretty the colored foil was. Being a supply hoarder, I was debating keeping them (who doesn't love to smooth them out and admire the shiny?) when my brain came up with these:

Unfortunately for me, the base shoe I ordered was..... HALF A SIZE TOO BIG. In my haste, I had forgotten that the particular brand ran a little big. Sad times Sad I didn't want to return them though, because I reeeaaallly wanted to make these, so I decided to make the red one, then I'll soon be making a silver one and they will be part of my Valentines Day decor. Problem solved; yippee! (I will be purchasing a pair in my size though, because I can't NOT have a pair to wear.)

Here are a couple more shots:

As always, thanks for taking the time to look and remember: Stay Inspired! <3

I think I'm interesting!
