Details of swap:

You must be cleared and have feedback on the November 2011 swap (unless your claim was international) in order to sign up for the January 2012 rendition.

If you are late in the December 2011 swap, please do not sign up until you send.  You will not be accepted. If during the January 2012 swap, you become late on the December 2011 swap, I will put a hold on your pinterest link until you send.  This means I will highlight your name in red on the claims list and nobody will be allowed to claim you and you will not be allowed to claim anyone else until you send.  If you are not in the December 2011 swap then this doesn't apply to you.  Cheesy

Please plan your claims accordingly and above all else keep the organizers and your recipients informed on the status of your claims.  Thanks!

Please do not post in the thread until you have been approved by the organizer. This Board is for lists only.  The discussion/gallery thread is located here.  Post as soon as possible after signing up so we know you have found the thread and that you are getting updates.

This is a pinterest swap, meaning that your fellow craftsters will claim you for something you have pinned on your board.

1 - This swap is NOT chain style.  You may choose from anyone's list once they are posted.

2 - This swap is for either one medium or three small items for each claim.  A medium item is one that takes 2 or more hours, $10 - $30, some examples are a single necklace or bracelet or a scarf.  A small item is one that takes 2 or less hours, $10 or less, some examples are earrings/wallets/pouches/bookmarks.

3 - Once you have been approved, you may post in the list thread.  Your post should look like this:
         - your location and a brief bio (include allergies in red please)
         - your Pinterest link
         - list of boards that are to be used for this swap, or simply say something like "all my boards are game"
         - whether you are okay with supply claims

4 - If the person you want to claim is okay with crafty supply claims, you may send supplies.  HOWEVER, they must be the particular supply the person has pinned.  You are not allowed to claim someone for random fabric just because they happen to have some fabric pinned.  If you have something that you think the person would love but they don't have it pinned, please PM that person BEFORE claiming to make sure it is something they would like to have.

5 - Remember, the more items and bigger variety of items you have on your Pinterest; the more likely it is for you to be chosen.

6 - You may have up to 2 claims outstanding at a time unless you are FOC, then you may have up to 3 outstanding claims at a time.

7 - If you are flaked on, you will only receive an angel for as many packages as you have sent.  If you were claimed for 3 packages and you sent 2 packages and one package was flaked on - you will not receive a swap angel.

8 - When you wish to choose someone, please send a PM to the BOTH Organizers and the Receiver.  At that point, please request the address from the receiver.

9 - Everyone must make at least ONE claim per month.

10 - Required: good communication; all PMs should go to BOTH organizers: PM to choose someone; PM the DC# or receipt; PM when you receive as well as posting a 'Thank You' in the gallery (even if you can't take photos).  Please put "Pinterest Swap" in the subject line of all PMs.  At the minimum, please tell us if it is a send or receive, the senders username, receivers username and the item.  Otherwise we may be a tad crazy trying to figure it out.

11 - It is your responsibility to make notes in your bio/link post as well as on pinterest about color/size/material preferences, when an item has been received if you do not desire duplicates, and any other preferences.  Communication is key for happy swappers.

The number in front of the username is how many times that swapper has been claimed
The numbers after indicate total claims swapper has made, number in transit, number received
* it might be nice to show these people some crafty love, they've claimed more than they've been claimed

My name is Robin.  I live in Portland, OR (U.S.) and I am a full time PhD student.  I am also the mother of preschooler extraordinaire, Aria Jae.   I love handmade and I love surrounding my child with handmade.

If you decide to craft for me: my favorite colors are blue and green.  I love earthy and jewel tones.   I wear a lot of black and sometimes a bit of grey and every once in a while something red, but mostly I wear black.  I like the look of steampunk and Gibbous jewelry and clothing.  I just started teaching a college course this term and would love some great jewelry to dress up my work outfits.

If you decide to craft for Aria: her favorite colors are blue and green as well.  She loves pirates, robots, monsters, rainbows, elephants. and dinosaurs.  She also loves the care bears (80s style, before CGI got to them), the 70s animated TV show Godzilla, Ponyo, Batman, Spiderman, the Hulk (as in the green guy), and lately Dinosaur Train. We dont really do princess stuff around here but we do like fairies, sprites, and gnomes.  Her newest thing is anatomy.  Seriously.  She loves learning about the body.  I have loads of things I would love for her pinned on my pinterest, including clothing, toys, and accessories.  If you craft from her party board...I'll give you the biggest cyber hug EVER!  Cheesy

With the exception of the board titled, "stuff I should make and gift," all other boards are free game.  Exact replicas are not necessary so please feel free to get creative and have fun...

I am totally fine with a supply claim.  Good boards to look if you want to send me supplies...the boards titled "fabric love," "supply love," "pattern love," and "craft books."  I always love fabric, but please PM me before sending fabric not pinned on my fabric love board.  Fun colored buttons in various sizes and of various materials but mostly of the round variety are always welcome...

Hi! My name is Tina and I live in Vancouver Washington with my husband and two wonderful daughters (16 and 20. Now, really, when did that happen?). I am in a PhD program that is stressing me out, so both playing on Pinterest and crafting are welcome distractions!

I like fall colors, turquoise, dark rust, green, forest colors... but I also like bright rainbow colors. Okay, I guess that I pretty much like all colors, but am less excited by Easter pastels and neons, although they have their place. I generally do not like camouflage patterns.

My style leans towards bohemian / gypsy / hippie / natural. I am absolutely fine with you upcycling and using recycled materials in your crafts for me. I would prefer that the materials that are used do not come from animals (no real fur, and only recycled leather, please).

I am a plus-sized woman, so if you are thinking of anything that needs a size (even things like bracelets, short necklaces, etc) please pm me. In fact, if you have any questions about my list or likes, feel free to pm me!

All of my boards are fair game for inspiration, except for "Wedding Photography Research" (my daughter had been hired to do a wedding photo shoot and we were collaborating on ideas). I don't need exact duplicates, so please feel free to use your wonderful creativity!

I am also fine with a supply claim - I have a "craft supplies that I want" board, as well as a "craft books" board that are fair game.

Hi everyone. I live in a sleepy little town in Iowa. It is very cold here, so I don't get out much (plus, there is no where to go). I spend most of my time crafting. I knit, crochet and carve stamps. I love sewn items, but can't sew. I live with my boyfriend (of 7 years) and our small dog (Sissy, who is afraid of everything). My favorite color is pink. I also love bright colors and pastels. I am not a big fan of dark colors and earth tones. I love "cutesie" patterns, like hearts, flowers, butterflies, cupcakes, ect. I also like paisley. My tastes are similar to a 6 year old girl's  Smiley I don't have any allergies.

All my boards are fair game except "Christmas Gifts" and "Things I've Made". My pins are just for inspiration. It doesn't have to be the exact item. Something loosely biased on it is great. For example, you might want to craft something that does the same function as a pin I have, but make it entirely different way. That's great.

I have no problems with supplies claims. It is very hard to get supplies here. Those can be loosely biased too (ie a different but similar type of yarn).

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

I live in east Tennessee (USA).  I'm 30 and I'm married to a sweet, wonderful computer geek.  We don't have any kids yet, but we have an exuberantly friendly golden retriever and one fish.  I enjoy cooking, gardening and hiking.

I like nature themed things (trees, fish, insects, birds, etc.), especially jewelry and art. My favorite colors are blues and greens. My style is a little bit preppy, a little bit Audrey Hepburn and a little bit hippy.

My main crafts are knitting and drawing/art but I also dabble in lots of different things. I love to receive sewn items, handspun yarn, and homemade soap. I would also love to receive some art for my very bare walls.

No major allergies, but because of my eczema, I avoid things with harsh dyes or detergents and I prefer natural fibers.

I have 3 boards that are off limits: "gift ideas / projects (for me to make)" and "diy inspiration (for me to make)" and of course "things I have made". The rest of the boards are fair game. You will probably find the most inspiration in the board titled "crafted things I'm coveting (swap wishlist)". Please feel free to use the pins as inspiration and make something that's not an exact copy. Please pm me if you want to make a supply claim, as I'm trying to whittle down my stash.

I'm Aida and I'm from the Philippines. I'm an engineering graduate. I love geeky things, musicals, books. I also appreciate humor tending to the nerdy programming side because of my course. My favorite colors are the from the pure shades to darker shades of greens and blues and mixes of those two colors.

All my boards are fair game for crafting or inspiration, except for the stuff I've made, received from swaps ones (but they do show a lot about me), keep in mind (just stuff I want to keep track of) and places I want to go to and cute/funny board (just there for the fun). You don't have to craft exact copies of my pins, inspired by them is fine. You can mix and match as you want from my pins. I'm still adding more pins, slowly but surely!

And I'd love supplies, if you want to make a supply claim. I would absolutely love you if you send me stuff to make leather cuffs like snaps, mini buckles, and leather. I've been totally fixating on them lately.

Hello! I am Meghan, 25, from Seattle, WA. I have a lovely (super-nerdy) husband of four months. We live in a teeny-tiny apartment where we spend our time watching netflix, playing video games, cooking and of course crafting! I am pretty nerdy myself, but I am happy to get stuff for Mr Mouse as well.
I knit (A LOT), spin, sew (moderately), poly clay, make jewelry, draw, book bind, and other stuff. Mr Mouse paints WH40k miniatures and can always use little brushes and files.

All my boards are fair game except the food ones really. I would LOVE to receive art and usable items the most (less knick knacks). I love leggings, tee shirts, housewares, kitchen stuff, geekery, and supplies. I am a FOC and there are some more specific pet-peeves and deep loves listed in my profile.

PM me with any questions or helpful advice as this is my 1st time in this swap.

I'm Cindy and I live in Alberta, Canada.  I've been married for 26 years and we have 2 sons, ages 20 and 22.  I work part-time at a doctor's office.  On my days off I like to crochet, quilt and cross stitch.  I think you can figure out my style from my Pinterest boards.  I like bright colors (but can't stand mint green and baby blue) and I also like dark green, dark blue and dark purple.  If you're unsure about something PM me and I'll gladly answer your questions.

Please do not pick from my food related boards, Things I've Made or Letters of the Alphabet (that's just there for my fun) but all the rest are fine.  I don't need exact replicas of what I show so feel free to use them as inspiration.

Here's the link:  Pinterest

As far as supplies go, I have a board for Fabric and I'm pretty particular about it so please PM me if you have some similar and I'll let you know if it's close enough (don't mean to sound snotty here but I know what I like and want)   Grin

Hello all!

I'm Michelle and I live in Ontario, Canada.  I am 30, married to a geeky bookworm, with a Scotty Dog and a grey cat. I am a Propmaker for the theatre and I love to try out new techniques. I like to embroider, sew, sculpt, paint and get a little messy. I love most colours, except for pastels, and grey, brown, and orange recently seem to be something I gravitate towards.

I don't mind if you make things for my hubby either - he has his own section "Things my hubby thinks are cool", make anything to do with Polar bears for him and he will scream like a giddy 6 year old girl (seriously).

Here's what I would love: An embroidered something that will end up on a wall using any image from my pinterest whether it's embroidered or not,  Wall Art,  Hair accessories, Pillows, Useful/ Practical objects?, Bags, Ukulele anything,  Paper Cutting or Quilled stuff, Also Steampunkified things are cool.

Here's what I wouldn't love as much: Not so much into the knick-knacks, don't bother with clothes cause I have a weirdo body and no matter how much you wanna craft me a snake, they are totally off limits. Also my DIY board is stuff I would like to do... but if you really wanna do something from it, lemme know..

I welcome your creative reinterpretation of things from my pinterest as well, have fun, try something new, or don't and just do what you know you love to do and use my pinterest as a springboard for your imagination! PM me if you are not sure, but I betcha if you love it, I will too!

Hello! My name is Cady and I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and our 3-year-old (almost 4 - yikes!) son Max. I'm a full time student and stay at home mom.

I love purple, dragons, geeky stuff, and earrings. You will notice a complete absence of clothing for me - let's keep it that way. Max loves trains and animals the best.

Please, nothing scented, and try to keep projects away from smoke and furry pets.

My Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/saintcady/

The board Swap potential (http://pinterest.com/saintcady/swap-potential) is probably the most direct board, but feel free to just take inspiration from some of the others (like the Quotes & Signs board, or Geek Joy, or Kid Stuff). I do have a board of craft supplies I covet as well (http://pinterest.com/saintcady/craft-supplies/). Probably steer away from the Projects I've Done board. Items I've already received or that I'm expecting from someone else are noted in the comments. I'm happy to answer any questions! Thank you in advance! <3

I'm Linsey and I live in California, not too far away from L.A. (but not too close either Wink ). I'm 25, a PhD student in English, and I teach high school kids as well. No pets for me Sad but I do love pets of all kinds, especially BEAGLES!! My favorite craft is jewelry and I also sew, embroider, cross-stitch, paper craft, paint some, build stuff from other stuff (like clocks), and do a little polymer clay work. There are also a million more crafts on my "To Learn" list...

I would LOVE anything either decorative or useful...there's not much I would turn down except poppets/dotees/scary dolls/clowns. Things to help me stay organized both with my job/school and craft hoard stash would be wonderful, and I'm also in love with handmade art (any media, love mixed-media), amigurumi, anything Harry Potter-related, steampunk, teeny tiny things, etc etc. My style is very vintage/antique/nostalgic, so if it's old or it looks old, I'll probably love it.

Boards to craft from: Dia De Los Muertos, Wish I Could Knit and Crochet, TV and Movies, Wish List, Harry Potter, World of Warcrafts, Upcycle Recycle

Boards for inspiration (and if you want to craft from these, by all means go for it!!): Inspiration, No Place Like Home, Awesome Antiques, Webcomics I Love, Knotty Nautical, Steampunk Rock, Victoriana, Bijou, Southwestern Style, Colors I Love, I Dream of Fabric

No allergies here. Please, no supplies either. I've joined the De-stashalong this year to try and minimize my hoard!

Hey guys, I am Lindy and I live in Arizona with my boyfriend, two kids, dogs and cats.  We just bought our first home in June and I have been having all kinds of fun decorating!

My honey doesn't "get" crafted items so don't worry about him  Wink  My kids are Adia (11) and Landon (7 on the 19th) who have their own board and would love anything from it. http://pinterest.com/lindyv321/for-my-kidlets/
Since Landon's birthday is coming up I would love to be claimed for things I can give him.  I am pretty sure you will be able to tell what the "boy" stuff for him is!

I love just about all colors (except yellow and orange) but am finding myself really drawn to turquoise/aquamarine/teal type shades lately.  I would love to do my craft room in pink and teal or gray and yellow!  As for clothing I tend to wear A LOT of black and like to use bright accessories for a pop of color.  I love turtles, tattoos, skulls, Harry Potter, books, scarves, hats, hair clips, make-up, jewelry, and crafting.

All of my boards are up for grabs except the I made that one since well, I made that stuff!  please feel free to check out the ideas board as who knows if I will ever get around to actually making any of that awesome stuff!  I am also totally cool with supply packages.  I have a supply and fabric board.  Also I have a book board that has some crafty books I would enjoy!

Thanks for claiming me!

Hi, My name is Monique, Im 29 and live in El Paso, TX with my husband who is currently in Afghanistan. I run my own craft business, even though I have a Master's in Math . I love purples, lime green, olive, black, grays, and blues (aquas, teals, peacock), but am in love with all the goth and steampunk color schemes. Hi, my name is Julie and I'm from Tasmania - yes, it might take a little while for my items to arrive  Sad but I'll try to send early so that 's not an issue.  I have 5 children, and I am a uni student doing communications.  I love in the perfect place - we do sustainable gardening and I do crafting just for fun, but as I'm getting better at it... its just great!

I would welcome anything fairy related, I'm attempting to create a fairy garden at the moment!  figurines, crystal hanging thingies, wind chimes, little doors and windows to make into little fairy houses most welcome.  My pinterest in really very new, I'll be adding to it as I go along.  I love whimsy, steampunk, fantastical things that look amazing and work, even if it just turns around or opens, zetti-style art, gothic, makes you think.  If you wanted to craft for my children (pm me), my daughters are 12 and 4, sons are 6, 8, 10.  The girls also love fae, oldest goth fantasy (as do I), boys love armies and supernatural creatures like Krakens and monsters.  I also very much love things that are not in scale ie things that are way small or way bigger than they would be...
I love all that with the exception of I don't like army-related items.
(My partner doesn't know what he could make but he creates scale models and aquatic sanctuaries/gardens - but he can make anything I want him to)

Favourite colours:
(Seem to go together)
purple/turquoise~sea green
forest green and rich brown
velvet dark blue

Allergies: smoke, lavendar, gluten, lactose, latex, heavy chemicals
and I am not sure about stash swaps, I'll consider if you PM me, if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me!!

Hi! I'm Jenn and I'm 34, a programmer, mom to two health-challenged kiddos, married to my high school sweetheart and a complete craft & swap addict. Books are my number one passion in life followed closely by Harry Potter. We live in the Dallas, Texas, area. I've spent the night loading up my Pinterest. Most of the things I've pinned are HP-related but there are a few other things as well. I'd love art supplies, artwork or anything pinned in my "Crafts I'd Like to Receive" board. In addition to that board the ones labeled "Art I Love" and "Craft and Art Supplies I Covet" are fair game. For my artwork board, I'm fine with art inspired by the pieces there instead of exact copies.

Allergy Info
My daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and Immune Deficiency so we can't accept crafts from anyone with a CFer in their household. Also, If someone in the household has been sick within the two weeks prior to when my swap item is to be sent I respectfully request that the sender wait until two weeks after everyone is well before sending the item out. I can't accept any crafts from smoking households or that have been exposed to smoke due to my daughter's lung issues. I know all this sounds scary, but seriously unless someone in your household smokes or currently has the flu it's okay! We've done a ton of swaps and never had an issue yet. Please don't be afraid to claim me Tongue

Thank you so, so much in advance for whomever claims me!

Hi Smiley I'm Melissa and I live in metro Atlanta, GA with my fiance and our chihuahua Rupert. I'm a graphic designer professionally and he's a techy nerd. We're both into beer (making and drinking), vintage cars, Thai food, recycling and good music. We're getting married this fall, hooray!

Things I love: anything vintage (jewelry, photos, cars, fabrics, owls, porcelain state plates, etc), handspun yarn, knee-length cotton skirts, cabled knitting, embroidery hooplas, things for my dog, wall art, slouchy knit/crochet hats, homemade soap, gardening (container only for now), windchimes, garden gnomes, totebags, cooking/baking, beer-related things (we love craft and dark beers), anything Martha Stewart!

Colors I love: teal / aqua, deep brown, mustard yellow, orange, red, charcoal gray, pink, green (lime, grass, avocado), deep purple.

Supplies I could use: always in need of jewelry supplies (glass beads, vintage charms, metal chains in all varieties -- a "bead soup" or "jar of whimsies" is always a welcome treat!), yarn ("odd ball" amounts are fine too), embroidery floss, wooden embroidery hoops, mason jars, fabric fat quarters, small brown buttons.

Things I dislike: "fun fur" yarn, country or patriotic items, religious themes, camoflauge, cigarette smoke, hunter green, burgundy, neon and pastel colors, anything '80s-looking.

Here is the Pinterest board I've made for inspiration: http://pinterest.com/marut/crafter-swaps-things-i-would-like-to-have/

Hi, my name's Wendy.

I live in Australia and am a sole parent to 2 children aged 13 & 11.

I love many types of crafts and my current craft of choice is papercraft and altered art. I love Tim Holtz's style and am trying to build up a collection of his products.

I have 2 boards on my pinterest for this swap - Crafted Items Wish List and Craft Supplies Wish List. I am very happy with a supplies only package.

I love purple, magenta, fuchsia, aubergine, chocolate brown, gray, deep pink, dark red, leaf green & taupe. Not keen on blue, orange, yellow, mint or dark green, black.

I am passionate about natural fabrics and fiber, so would prefer not to receive items made with polyester, acrylic or vinyl.

My style is an eclectic blend of 1930-1950s florals, modern leaf prints and damask prints, and plain fabrics in neutral shades.

I am allergic to nickel, and sensitive to the smell of smoke and perfume.

hi... I'm Mindy and I live in SW Florida....I have been a Montessori teacher for about 15 years now. 95% of the time I LOVE what I do, the other 5% is usually ruined by the parents not the children. I am a single mom of 3, 2 kids.. (a son 16, a daughter 12) and a rescue mom to my wonderful ShiTzu "Tinkerbell" (who, mind you, came with her name). I'm a pretty mellow laid back individual, living life with the "Life is Good" motto!... the grass is never greener on the other side! I'm also a firm believer that COFFEE makes the world spin.....I'm a little, well maybe A LOT OCD, but it typically works out for the best.....I love exploring new crafts, and can usually figure out just about anything.... I'm not real good about following patterns, because I always want to make things a bit different so that its a one of a kind ..... whenever possible, I will always strive to.....REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE!!!

cat fur and I dont really get along, as long as your cat doesnt become best friends with what you are making for me and he doesnt slip into the box to be sent I should be fine..

My style/likes/wants/needs are pretty apparent on my pinterest boards, but feel free to ask any questions!!

boards that are for me to refer to would be...made by me....baby gift ideas..tutorials and ideas for others..... school ideas.... i need to do this.....wedding ideas for lou lou....

The rest of my boards are open for inspiration

Hi Everyone! I'm Mary Ann and I live in Portland, OR, USA. I'm a writing/literature tutor and an aunt of 3 wonderfully naughty little boys. I sew, quilt, crochet, loom knit, make soap and lotion and other bath and body stuff and do a bit of embroidery and paper crafting. No allergies (except to cats, and then I pretty much need to hold them and then rub my eyes, so a little cat hair isn't an issue).

I love: bright colors and jewel tones (neons not so much) as well as earthy colors and neutrals. Turquoise/teal/aqua is my fave. I adore dress forms and have some dress form art pinned. I also am really into "The Yellow Wallpaper." I love Nintendo, especially Mario and Zelda. I prefer useful items to knick-knacks, although I love art of all methods that can hang on the wall. Things for my nephews are always welcome. They are typical little boys, ages 7 1/2, 6, and 3 1/2. Computer geeky stuff for the boyfriend is appreciated also.

Pretty much all my boards are up for grabs, even most of the stuff on the board of Crafts I want to make (a couple of them I have notes about how I'm making them or want to make them for someone else, so not those please Smiley. You might find the most inspiration on Crafted items you can make for me, Style, Craft Books, Decorative, and Craft Supplies. No clothing unless stenciled t-shirts please (pm for sizes). Also no jewelry please as I can't wear it, but I don't think I would have any pinned.

I would love to receive supplies, especially of quilting cottons, craft books I have pinned (second hand is wonderful), or Lion Brand Microspun yarn, which I need 4 skeins of in different colors for a project and am having trouble tracking down.

My name is Leigh-Ann, I live in florida with my 4.5yr old son Levi.

We are VERY allergic to smoke!

Anything on my pinterest would be great!   I'm happy to be claimed for supplies too, including any fabric.  Fabric doesn't have to be exactly what I pinned, I'm happy with any solid colors, stripes, dots, or kid friendly prints.  I'd LOVE knit fabric or velour in any color as well.

The "ideas for school" and "ideas for playground" are for the preschool I'm starting (eventually), but I'd like any of that too.  I'd love any of the homeschool related stuff and playscape stuff, those would be great!   And anything for Levi.   Ok anything at all thats on my pinterest, or inspired by it is great too.

Friends don't let friends craft alone :)

Hello all, My name is Monica and I live on the coast in North Carolina. I love my pintrest and it does have a lot and most tell just what I colors and all I think would look best for my home and or family.

We can not have anything from a smokers home OR that have a smell at all of smoke as my little granddaughter has a major tar allergies ( the sticky stuff that sticks to hands, walls ect.. Also please do not send anything to Houston that is green he has autism and green ( like kelly green) is a trigger color and he just flips out on that one.
I would rather not have anything from the Wizard of Oz , Art, other stuff, holiday or patterns boards. If you want to craft for the kids please only the room signs like they are in my pintrest, Atlanta's page for her room or her crochet food board...Houston we are adjusting so avoid that wall please
Also, please not the art sheets from my supplies board if your sending some supplies that is great just please make sure they are things in my pin board and fabric I would love to be what is in my fabric board..

I am moving this spring to Cape Cod, Mass and am totally looking forward to it HOWEVER, I am not a fan of cold so I am stocking up on things to keep me and Atlanta warm.  Houston will not be moving with us to Cape Cod for several reasons  Cry Cry however in with his mommy so things for his room/reading room will not be needed she wants to do his room the way she wants so.....
