Grin Finished a little project. But, hey, every little bit counts.

I made an eyeglass case for work. Since I work in Corrections everything must be searchable. I had some pretty multi-blue material in my stash. I just eyeballed the size to fit the glasses. I then made a cord out of braided DMC floss to use as a closer. Its working pretty good.

I need a couple more eyeglass holders...using DMC for a closer is a good idea!

I think the afghan is a nice size...it turned out very colorful and nicely stitched!

supertink--I love gingham fabric...it always look so fresh and happy to me...cute dress!

hgddm--love your bead holder!  It does look like you have plenty to make earrings for a long time...

gaudiknight--it is always nice to make envelopes prettier!  I love lining plain envelopes, but they do not take up much stash, do they? Cheesy

laughinglark...2012 is the year to decide what to do with WIPS that have been around for a long time...I can't wait to see how you salvaged yours!  ha ha I can relate to the growing afghan...when I was learning, I made the most out of shape afghan ever...I was a bit embarrassed because it was for a nursing home, but they said the patient did not care...he loved his wonky afghan! Cheesy

Well, I've been promising a mathematician friend for ages I'd knit him a mathematical shape, so with the themes this month including white, I managed a round-to-it, and finally did it.
This is my hyperbolic plane

It's made of a scrap of dishcloth cotton I had left over, so it could be useful too.

Pictures for stripes will come later (once received) and for my "for me", I've sewn up a T shirt tote bag: It's enormous! I can't put heavy things in it: it weights too much to carry when it's full! No piccys I'm afraid, but it's already seen plenty of use.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Wow! everybody is so busy! Love the mathematical-shape dish thingy! Too cool!

And the Star Wars skirt-from-a-bed-sheet is fun.

I like the wavy afghan just the way it is.

Organization-wise, I'm loving alwaysinmyroom's idea about "project bags" to store everything needed for a specific project. I did get my fabric arranged by color, as well as my buttons. (Hooray!)

I'm ALMOST done with my next project ... but it's aggravating the heck out of my tennis elbow, trying to sew through faux leather upholstry to trim out the purse I made.

Buttons, arrgh! I've managed to cram so many buttons into my button drawer that the handle came off Shocked Huh Now I have no access to my really cool buttons and can only reach my shirt buttons. The disadvantage of stash sorting. Cry

I guess I know what my next project is then......
