The purse from upholstery fabric is great. It reminds me of the really expensive ones in department stores.

And that scroll lace scarf is gorgeous.

That purse looks amazing! People would pay big bucks for something that gorgeous.

The little hearts are cute. Smiley

Thanks, everyone! I had not thought about posting it over in the "purses and bags" section of Craftster, but I will! My son said, "Wow, Mom, that looks kinda professional -- until you get really close to it." Ha!

I agree the little hearts are adorable -- do you have a special plan for them?

i learned how to knit and purl on my knifty knitter and seeing it come together is helping me understand how to knit on needles. i have been busy trying to adjust to my new school schedule... ugh! only 14 1/2 weeks left hahahaha. i finally got my work cell phone in so since i dont need to go to campus very often now i dyed chunks of my hair pink  Grin i just wore a big hat when i had to go in and send a fax hahaha my heavy duty machine is in the shop  Sad i miss it lol. but good thing it broke because i found out this shop has sewing classes on saturdays geared towards learning how to sew patterns. perfect since thats my main 2012 goal! i start mid february

today i sewed together my lingerie laundry bag and pet towel laundry bag. they arent necessarily pretty but i am actually quite proud of them. they were super simple and now my room wont be full of bras waiting for laundry day lol

Holy cow, I have been sick the past week or so and haven't been on Craftster much...I missed so many pages of posts!  Smiley

I'm still plotting my project for myself, but I finished up a small cross stitch for my cousin.  I haven't taken photos yet, but I'll post it in the next few days.  I've also started knitting...a new endeavor.  My future MIL hooked me up last Christmas with an insane knitting kit, I'm happy to finally be taking advantage of it...and getting rid of some yarn.  I'm hoping to post more soon!

My goals for this year are to take better photos (I get sad every time I see my photos on here...I am a trained photographer!  It's despicable...just such bad lighting in and around our house...and, if I'm honest, probably a little laziness  Roll Eyes).  Like some others, I'm also trying not to buy craft supplies or stash this year.  So far so good...haven't been to the craft store at all since early December (down from at least once a week for the past couple years).

We had a room swap planned that I mentioned, but then I got sick and we found out we might be moving, so that is on hold for the time being.  I'm still working on going through and organizing my stash though!

I love all the projects, thanks for keeping me inspired!

I adore that scroll lace scarf and the brown upholstery bag, I am desperate for a new handbag and I have some blue upholstery scraps which I've never known what to do with, so now I think I know what to do. I also love the idea of hanging laundry bags, that's another thing I really need and I have some old bedding fabric I could create into laundry bags rather than spending 20 on the one I wanted from the shops.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the ipad case fits perfectly and my friend posted a picture on fb but I'm becoming irate with people commenting on how they wish they could "knit" aswell  Angry. People also keep giving me stash, I've already acquired a massive bag of various yarns and a dress that is to be taken apar for fabric (I think I'll make myself a skirt for an engagement party I'm going to in march).
