I claim Karrie for some zipper pulls and a surprise from her supply list Smiley

HI! I'm Summer from Texas. I am mom to 3 amazing boys 12, 7, & 7. We live on a ranch that has been in my DH's family for over 150 years. We raise and breed cattle and my sons show cattle all over the state of Texas.

Like most moms today I try to do everything! I work at a local church as the Director of Children's ministry, sit on the twins elementary school PTO, volunteer in scouts, and run around like a chicken with my head cut off. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing, jewelry making, and various other hobbies. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store - I have memorized the layout, and frequent it often.  I am a die hard LSU fan - we bleed purple & gold in our home, and when we are home on a Saturday in the fall, you can be guaranteed that college football will be on the TV!

I claim jo_momma for a fabric wrist cuff, cuddle sack for pet mouse, and something else mousey

My name is Robin.  I live in Portland, OR (U.S.) and I am a full time PhD student.  I am also the mother of preschooler extraordinaire, Aria Jae.   I love handmade and I love surrounding my child with handmade. My pinterest is full of stuff I'd love so feel free to surprise me with something off one of my boards. http://pinterest.com/rlynn/

If you decide to craft for me: my favorite colors are blue and green.  I love earthy and jewel tones.   I wear a lot of black and sometimes a bit of grey and every once in a while something red, but mostly I wear black.  I like the look of steampunk and Gibbous jewelry and clothing.

If you decide to craft for Aria: her favorite colors are the rainbow, bright and cheery, but she leans more towards blue.  She loves pirates, robots, monsters, rainbows, and elephants.  She also loves anatomy; her favorite Christmas gift was a model of a human body complete with squishy organs.  We dont really do princess stuff around here but we do like fairies, sprites, and gnomes.  I have loads of things I would love for her pinned on my pinterest, including clothing, toys, and accessories. The only request I have is please no stuffies unless they are super teeny tiny or something I have pinned...she has so many so we are trying to slow it down on how many new stuffies find a home here. Big WISHES in bold.

For Aria
-1/18 scale dollhouse stuff (she has some calico critters; I think that is the appropriate scale)
-Fairy/Butterfly wings
- tees, tunics, pants, or dresses for Aria (4T)
here are a few links to some things i really like but you don't have to make these exact things...I'm including it for inspiration about the types of clothing and fabric/color choices I like.  there are more examples in my pinterest.
more clothing ideas
-Pantaloons (4T)
-altered hoodie (5T)
-appliqued, stenciled, embellished tees, etc... for Aria (4T)
-Batman tee (you know with simple bat symbol) (4T)
-Spiderman tee (with simple spider symbol) (4T)
-Godzilla tee (4T)
-Wall art (her room is mostly blue and green, but we've been adding loads of rainbow fun)
-Teeny tiny crocheted animals (she has piggies already)
-Something elephant; Aria loves them (anything but please no stuffies unless it teeny and tiny)
-Something anatomy inspired and appropriate for an almost 4 year old; she loves learning about the human body
-Something galaxy inspired and appropriate for an almost 4 year old; she loves learning about the planets and stars
-baby hair clips - Aria recently got a pixie hair cut, she needs small clippies like the kind made for baby hair, we prefer simple rather than over the top....maybe small bows would be cute.  Cheesy
-Some sort of cozy for her LeapPad Explorer w/touchscreen, maybe with some sort of strap or handle for carrying and pockets w/zipper or Velcro to store her extra games (PM for measurements)

For me
-Jewelry for me (please check out my pinterest for ideas; Im pretty particular about my jewelry.  It doesnt have to be an exact replica but my pinterest will give you a feel for my tastes)
-acorn jewelry, beads or felted, I like either style - thanks Atsuko!
-Fold over yoga band skirts for me (PM for measurements) Here's a tutorial
-Circle skirt for me.  Here's a tutorial
-bags with sturdy handles as I would like to use them to haul my school stuff to and from campus
Bags I like posted here
-wool dryer balls
-Fun Magnets (Prefer super strong magnets on back please like the rare earth kind)
-Handmade buttons (wood, poly clay, resin, etc...)
-Laptop cozy (PM for measurements)
-Hoop art or any wall art, inspiration can be found on my art board
-Hair pretties (I think I have some on my pinterest accessories board but again I like steampunk and gibbous inspired things)
-woodland creature and the forest themed whimsy jar
-Reusable "Paper" Towels (Don't really care what material/color/pattern as long as its absorbent, can be the snappie roll up kind or just loose ones)
-Jewelry wall organizer (I have some pinned on my pinterest probably under my Home board, but I need it to store necklaces and some earrings; extra coolness points if it has a way to stash cuffs and bracelets)
-no slip dish towels like this or this
-scrappy placemats...I like these a lot.  they do not have to match and one at a time as a claim is fine.
-Door Draft Buster like this
-Cami Lace Bands

For Aria's Fourth Birthday Party
Besides Aria's first birthday party, her traditional Korean dol, I have not made a very big deal out of her birthdays.  Aria really likes the Care Bears, but I don't really want to do a cartoon themed party.  Instead, I'd like to throw her a spectacular birthday full of rainbows, hearts, and stars (all things she associates with Care-a-lot).  Her birthday is not until the end of March, but knowing me I'll be neck deep in school work and grading papers so I could use all the help I can get.  Cheesy  Everything on this list is a big WISH.

-something like this cake topper but with short brown hair and brown eyes and maybe a rainbow heart balloon instead of a kite?
-scrappy ribbon garland...I need five of them now(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) about 9 feet each.  These can of course be done in separate claims. Kartiana added scrap fabric and other fibers...it looked great; feel free to do the same.  Cheesy

More to be added as I come up with more ideas; also feel free to check out my pinterest; the board titled party ideas is chock full of rainbow delight.  Cheesy

-Fabric from my pinterest or in a similar style
-Any of the craft books from my pinterest
-Thread for my sewing machine (all colors, please only gutermann or coats and clark)
-zippers (bright and fun colors, any and all lengths)

-Aria loves gold coinsfeel free to add to her loot.  Cheesy
-My partner, Phil, is hard to craft for but his stomach is always a good bet.  He loves bacon (but that might not travel well), chocolate, gummy bears, and pretty much any delish candy.

Thanks much!! Cheesy

Hello fellow swap addicts.  Ive been missing this swap so I decided to start off the new year with this wonderful swap!  Thanks babalina58 & Lindyv321 for organizing this swap.  I know it takes a lot of time and patience.

Im located in the United States.
Allergies:  Hubby has sever sinus issues but, most include grass/pollen/mold/ect.  He is allergic to cats but, as long as you dont mail your cat, then items from a cat friendly home are okay to receive.

Colors I like:
black/purple, black/hot pink, black/white, black/red, black/teal, black/smokey grey, smokey grey

Themes I like:
Anything Harry Potter, I LOVE Harry Potter!  Pirates.  Shirts like Sheldon wears on the Big Bang Theory show.  Dogs.  Tattoos.  1950s themes-like I Love Lucy styles.  Video games.  Hot Topic things-like funny hats and silly t-shirts and crazy knee high socks.  Sock monkeys.  Mythological creatures, especially dragons and phoenixs.

Crafted items:

1-cupcake oven mitts like these.  Just please make sure they are extra thick, I made some and they werent thick enough and I ended up burning my hand.

2-ceramic yarn bowl-would love a black or grey one, but would be happy with any color.

3-lined zipper pouches.  Size wise long enough for pencils and dpns.  Perhaps about 8x 3  maybe some 9x 4.  They dont have to exactly that size, but thats roughly the sizes Id like to have.  Fabric wise-anything related to harry potter, cute Japanese fabrics, cute animals, or other themes that I like.

4-golden snitch tote bag

5-golden snitch bracelet like this, but would want it to be an ankle bracelet.

6-harry potter metal stamped bracelet

7-harry potter prints.  I would love a set of these.  The only thing I would change is the book page background. I would love it to pages out of a harry potter book.

8-harry potter coasters like these.

9-padded lap top sleeve gryffindor.

10-padded lap top sleeve slytherin.

11-knit house bags.  Would love gryffindor or slytherin.

12-quilted wall art.  Im not exactly sure what I want.  If you look at the top of this post you can see my favorite color combos and themes I like.  So, just go wild those and surprize me.

13-12x12 pillow cases like this.  But in browns/tan.

14-Mohawk hat like this.  But black with purple Mohawk.  I like how the Mohawk sticks up like a real one.

15-dumplin zipper pouches.  Would like roughly 5 to 8 long.  Any style of color theme that you think I would like.

16-padded case for my nook that has a zipper closer.  I have the regular nook, not the nook color.  Theme wise Id love some thing harry potter inspired.

17-I received a box similar to this in a previous round.  I received a Gryffindor one.  Id love to have a slytherin one too!  Well, actually Id love a box for each house, but slytherin would be my first choice.

18-giraffe hat

19-fox hat

20-bunny hop slippers.  Smokey gray please.  Womans 7

21-a 3 piece type of wall art.  Like this style.  But in a pirate or harry potter theme.  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=294023.0

22-screen printed hug me im muggle hoodie.  Mens small.

23-I have a OWS board on my interest with some craft items too.

24-stamped ring, size 5 (silver) that has "always" stamped on it in pretty letters.

25-hooded capelet similiar to this.  but shoulder length, black with red lining and cozy fabric.

26-french made apron

27-lucy apron

28-stamped bracelet like this.  but i would like to pick a different quote from harry potter.

29-A hollow book.  It must be made out of a hard back harry potter book though.

Pre-owned is always appreciated.
Please no half used/partial skeins of yarn though, as I have plenty of those already.

1-teeny tiny mochimochi book.  I would love you forever if you sent this!

I claim Lady Pistola for a statement bracelet, and something else I haven't decided.

Hello, Im Kirsten, Im a full time student from New Zealand. I love art and I do a lot of drawing and printmaking.

Colours: particularly blue/green/teal/aqua, natural tones, or black and white; not so keen on pastels and pinks/purples (though dusty/dull shades can be nice).
Metals: silver, copper or antiqued finishes, rather than gold.
Styles: plainish and textured rather than very patterned. Natural linen, monochromatic prints rather than very multi-coloured. Some styles I particularly like are mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japanese (but not kawaii).

Think artsy-fartsy rather than cutesy when crafting for me

No allergies. I prefer natural fibres, but not exclusively. Im happy to chat, and easy to please. *** for things I particularly want (if that's helpful), but I will be delighted with anything on the list!

Thank you for picking me!!

* wisty surprise - http://wists.com/jemimah My wist will give you a good picture of my tastes inspired by rather than an exact replica is great, so feel free to get creative Smiley

* a Star Trek or Doctor Who thingy, whatever you like to make, my faves are Spock, tardis and daleks. (Useful rather than decorative is usually my preference, but any Spock, tardis, or dalek item that lands in my letterbox will find a home). Some ideas Tardis journal, etui, needle book; daleks on anything; Spock stationery, journal. Great Spock pattern here
* pick another one of my fave things and make something in your favourite craft medium (again, great if its useful) e.g. fox, British robin, robot (more in profile info)
*** things to put other things in box, organiser, project holder, etc. always welcome
* protective folder to store artwork in A4 or A3 would be great

* a pockety project bag I always have several projects on the go, so use these a lot, different styles and sizes all welcome (I love my Mimi project bag, and would happily receive another one)
* Plain and sturdy zippered totebag/storage bag
* organiser things (e.g. project holder, thing for storing small supplies and bits) any size. Some ideas in wist, but other styles are good too.
* sewing ideas (if you want to make cushions/cushion covers, you can mail them unstuffed for easier postage)
*** pot mitts/pot holders - something amusing, or one of my fave themes, or just simple. I quite like the long double ended style. Sturdy and washable more important than style or colour.
*  fabric buckets are great! I like them quite big (grocery bag size, or even bigger), but you don't need to put interfacing or padding/batting in them, so they can fold up flat for easy posting. They don't need to be fancy, plain and sturdy is fine. Short handles are useful, but not essential. Small size is good too if thats easier Smiley
* paint brush/art tools roll or folder/holder thing. Something like a roll for knitting needles or crayons/pens would be great. I can send measurements if that's helpful, but I'm really flexible on size and style.
* mug rug or set of coasters - whatever style you think I'd like
*** NEW leaf-shaped coasters
* NEW loose-fitting shrug/cropped cardi of some sort

* hand dyed or hand spun yarn
* handknitted wool socks (womens size 9-10, any colour) (I know, this is a big one!)
* socks/slippers for wearing around the house something simple to make, not fancy maybe made of old felted jumpers or something? (womens size 9-10) I am not fussy about the style, this is all about comfort. I work at home.
* if youre interested in knitting something, these are some things I want in my ravelry faves (I dont necessarily want all the other things in my ravelry faves though Smiley) ravelry wants there are some smaller things like hats and mitts in there, and a couple of crochet things too. Some good colours for knits dull denim blue, dull greyish rose, chartreuse, rich or dull red (not too orange-y or dark please), teal, blues or greens, charcoal.
* fingerless mitts - I like ones with thumbs rather than just thumb slits, but other than that I'm pretty flexible on styles - there are heaps of different patterns I like in that ravelry link. I wear these every day in the winter.
* wisty things made of felt or felted wool

* stationery notecards or paper, its all good
* stationery ideas

* handmade ceramic item, esp. in celadon green (but any colours are good) ceramic ideas
* hair sticks/comb/pin or shawl pin not too girly please, see wist
* polyclay or ceramic buttons - a variety of sizes/colours/textures would be great!

* or something else that I havent thought of, that you think Id like!

CRAFT SUPPLIES (many of these things are VERY expensive here, more than 2x US prices)

* real silk for embroidery, any colours, any brand, any type its hideously expensive where I live (its probably not that cheap where you live, but I bet its cheaper than here! a very small envelope will be cheap to post, and will make me very happy Smiley). I particularly love Soie d'Alger (made by Au Ver Soie). If you send me some Soie d'Alger, I will also send you a tiny pretty made with it by way of extra thanks. Smiley
(A few OWSers have sent me silk now, and I <3 it all! Thank you!)
* interesting embroidery supplies (please stick with quality over quantity, Id much rather have a tiny envelope with a few lovely skeins/little things than lots of cheap floss/beads, and it's also cheaper for postage!) The sort of stuff I like is DMC, anything silk or linen, Au Ver Soie, Japanese stuff, bits for goldwork (purl, kid, etc.), handmade/hand dyed, quirky things. Vintage/second hand is fine.  No Aida please.
* Id really like to try the DMC Naturals linen embroidery floss.
*** NEW a Bohin white mechanical marking pencil Id really love to get one of these!
*** a q-snap frame or two 11 x 17 and/or 11 x 11 would be great
*** nice sock yarn! Machine washable would be great, I keep felting my socks! Any colours welcome.
* Noro yarn, other silk/luxury yarn, artisan yarn (I have a great local source for good wool yarns, so while I love that too, its not worth you mailing it to me Smiley)
*** NEW stainless steel yarn like this or this
* bamboo circs (I have quite a few sizes in metal and plastic, but no bamboo. Long cables best, but any welcome.)
* nice paper - e.g handmade, japanese, printmaking, textured, any colour or weight - it's for printmaking, so plain or subtle rather than very patterned is best.
* small art supplies items:-
     - pencils, markers and pens (Prismacolor/Derwent/Caran D'Ache/Posca for example, or similar artist grade things think quality rather than quantity, just a few nice things would be fab! and cheap to mail)
     - peel and sketch charcoal pencils
     - drypoint etching supplies (roulette, plastic for etching)
     - inkpads, little stencils, stamps, etc.
*** 100% wool felt, eco felt < Ive never seen eco felt available here (I have stacks of ordinary synthetic felt already though)
*** DMC StitchBow floss holders - just the gold coloured sticks (I have plenty of the plastic pockets to put them in) I always need these!
* small sewing supplies rickrack, bias binding, cotton tape/ribbon, grosgrain
* blanks for pendants or brooches (not shiny gold though)
* I would particularly love some of this b&w cat fabric, this gorgeous fabric, or plain linen or wool fabric (natural, grey, green, blue). Also wool doctors flannel (for needlebooks, only need smallish pieces), if its easily available where you live.
* crafty magazines Burda or Anna (either English or German), Vogue Knitting, Verena, or any awesome US sewing/knitting mag.
* I'd love to get these knitting patterns - I particularly want Lalique - (no postage costs to buy patterns online either!) Smiley

* vintage/interesting buttons and beads
* bookmarks
* small chipboard shapes
* no candy (I like it TOO much)

Smiley Smiley Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely things!!! Some things are still on my list, because I love what you sent, and I am happy to receive similar things again.

NB. New Zealand has tough biosecurity at the border. This is very unlikely to apply to this swap, but just in case ... Please dont send natural materials (feathers, leaves, wood, seeds e.g. lavender, etc.) Everything on my list is absolutely fine to send, but PM me if youre unsure about something. Thanks  Smiley
