Hopefully, I am placing this in the correct place. I made this about a month ago, but thought I should finally share it. Hope you all like it.

I wanted a pin cushion that was NOT on my table when sewing.  I still wanted it within reach, and I never look at things normally. LOL

So, I had two broken wood candle sticks, a broken oil burner, a lamp shade, beads, paint, clear accent gems, and nothing but time on my side. LOL

Sorry about the cropping, but I took the picture in the garage.

What an ingenious solution. I love the black lace.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

I would have taken pictures of it next to the sewing machine a table, but it's a wreck because I haven't been able to keep up with it due to surgery. I will update once I can get a real good cleaning done.
 Thank you for the complements.

I really like this idea a lot. I am a big fan of black lace in almost any situation. This is much more elegant than the standard red tomatoe pin cushion.

Thank you. I also forgot to mention it is the same height as my sewing table. Lol
