I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and hopefully less stressful than mine. I'm finally back home after being on the road/train for 12h, and I can't tell you how excited I am to start crafting. First I have to order the box, found a lovely box that will fit perfectly.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful time with your partners, and that there won't be any flakers in this swap, not when its such a sweet swap. Also hope I didnt mess up partnering you up.

I'm finally back from my Christmas travels, but have a cold.  >_<  Oh well, at least I know what I want to do for my crafts; I'm about to explode from geeky crafting ideas.  I wish I could go into details, but I don't want to give away too many spoilers.  I'll probably end up sending extra items, since I can't seem to pick just a couple (adrienne_bowers, please don't feel that you have to send extra items, unless you would like to do so).

Just checking in... been crazy busy between Christmas and my retail job, but I have started a few little things for the swap, and I think I have some fun ideas for it so I am looking forward to it!

Just like everyone else here I have so many ideas! But I forced myself to get out a notebook and pen and draw out a plan so I can see how they would all look together. It's really helped my to focus in on what to make and how to make it.

So I'm in New Orleans and enjoying the warm sunny weather. So much of this place has my mind spinning in craft mode, getting great ideas for the little stuff to put in the box!! We are actually getting ready to run to a craft store to pick up a few things so I can craft while we are here.

This is me checking in. I have the box picked out and now I'm starting to list all things I want to make. I have some ideas and more will turn up, they always do.

As for me the holiday is over, well tree has to come down still. It's always stressful and it's not really anyones fault, just getting to be too much.  Embarrassed

But everything is great now.

No body move!! I dropped my brain.

Just got home and am looking forward to a week or two of crafting before classes start again. Got one of the box items just about done on the drive home today....no I wasn't the one driving Smiley would have finished it if the car hadn't tried to eat my scissors. Hopefully I'll get it done tonight. Happy crafting all.

I've been watching episode's of BBC's Little Dorrit, which came out sometime last year. Normally I don't much care for Charles Dickens, but I'm enjoying this series so far. Maybe its because Matthew Macfadyen is in it. lol Anyway around episode 3 or 4 there's a particular box full of secrets and possibly fortune. So far one person has tried to destroy the box and another has killed for it. This show's got me excited for making my box!  Grin

So far project 1 is finished, project 2 is 3/4 finished (still missing a piece) and project 3 is all planned out. Hopefully I can finish #3 by this weekend and get started on the box. Then I've got ideas for 2 more projects...  Smiley

Off to eat dinner and more Little Dorrit!

I'm finally checking in!   To be honest, I haven't really worked on anything just yet.  I'm still organizing after Christmas, I'm still trying to recover from being ill (since Xmas Day), this week we had a scare with my Gramma (she is doing better now), and I have worked full time thru all this!   HOWEVER, I do have my box bought, projects planned and pieces bought for said projects, and all I have to do is find/buy tidbits to fill in the box.  Oh, and make my projects.  Good thing I'm on vacation from work the 13th - 20th (except for jury duty)!   Plan to get everything done then and mailed.

This will happen and it will be awesome!

I can do personal swaps!  ^_^
