I made some items that involved gluing glass to glass and I used a glue I saw recommended online E6000 but it didn`t hold once the item was shipped to a friend. Can someone who has used a good epoxy glue offer another option? It needs to be used for

1.Gluing glass to glass
2.dishwasher safe
3.fairly affordable so that I can use it for future projects

In the UK you can get glass bonding adhesive which UV cures (so leave it in daylight for however long it says). Maplin's are selling it for 3.59 for 2mls ($5.54 at today's exchange rate) it might be a bit pricey for you, but it is very effective.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Does it really truly have to be dishwasher safe? Dishwasher temperatures are so uneven and the detergents will eventually etch the surface of the glass. I advise anyone who buys or receives any of my glass to avoid the dishwasher and to hand wash.
