I have all this fabric that i plan on using to make many many messanger bags and i have already made one for me and in a day or 2 Im going to make another one for my cousins birthday but i dont want to give it to her looking so plain. What could i do to the bag to make it more fancy for her? I usually have lots of ideas but when i actually need them i cant remember a thing. Oh and I am able to silkscreen but if i do silkscreen what should i do? Thank you for your help

I use to be with it. Then they changed what it was. Now what im with isnt it and whats it scares me.

Oh... a  blank canvas!!!!!
If it's a gift I would think about what bands, movies, songs, actors she likes. Maybe pull something form there that oyu can silkscreen onto a bag.
The strap can be decorated with small buttons, or pins, or mebriodered with her name.
Felt flowers or other aplique is very popular now too.

=)   Please let us know what you do!

Will her strap be red too?

Then I would recommend silkscreening, applique-ing or otherwise applying any of the following:

Cherries, Lips, Flames, Devils...

Since the lining fabric is sort of a brown, you could make chocolate covered cherries using it for the chocolate.

Make a dapper devil in a plaid suit.

I was thinking i would make the handle the same color as the outside fabric. I have lots of the red stuff so I would just cover it with the grey fabric
