My 6x6 art was finally received by Scarlet_Angel so I can post it!  I love texture and layers so this piece is paper, paint, stamping, fingers, etc.

I am also in the quilt block swap #2 so I have been working on blocks...I have 24 to make--here are some samples of the ones I finished so far...I am counting the entire swap as one project since it does make a huge quilt if sewn together! Cheesy

thanks for the nice comments on my cardigan, I love it and have been wearing it pretty much constantly as the weather is so miserable and grey here at the moment and orange & pink certainly brightens things up  Cheesy

This is the jumper (Brits and Aussies will know I've got that right  Wink ) I finished this morning. Thank hubby for the unflattering pic, he wouldn't stand up to take it properly  Angry The colours are better represented in the close up and you can just see the lurex  Grin

It was knitted with two strands of DK on one 10mm and one 20mm needle, cuffs and edging on 10mm. The sleeves came out waaaay baggier than anticipated but I like it anyway, next time I'll make smaller sleeves though - if there's a next time  Wink

Is that made with that new ruffle yarn? I'm so confused by that and don't think I will use it at all, but I really like how your shawl came out!!! Its very pretty and I love the colours!

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

It was made using Premier Yarns Starbella, which we have carried at the Michaels I work at since before June, anyway.

Judging from the projects for this pattern on Ravelry, it seems like just about any ruffle yarn will work, but I found with my experiments, that the wider the ruffle yarn is, the better it works.

I made a black and white one with Red Heart Sashay and I couldn't get it very big - the problem with this pattern for this yarn is that the more rounds you do the more ruffly it gets, so the amount of yarn you need increases exponentially.

In this rainbow one here, I used two balls.  When I added the second one, I never got all the way around with it - crazy, no?

Anyhow, it's a really easy pattern, though it seems iffy at first.  It's just slip stitches.
