I saw the previews for Craft Wars and I understand the idea...  just unhappy that the "Are you Crafty?" quiz didn't have any questions on yarn crafts.  I can answer those!  I have no idea how to go about making cold process or hot process soaps!  Roll Eyes  Will still be watching it on Tuesday.  Wink

So - Was about to wrap up a project today.....  newsboy hat made out of my Bazinga yarn.  I want to put elastic in the band.  It fits but I'd rather it didn't fall off my head.  Therefore, elastic.  Of ALLLLLLLL the craft supplies in our house, we had elastic cord and 3/4" elastic.  I feel like Goldilocks.  So I'll be going to JoAnn's tomorrow to purchase 1/4" elastic.  lol

In the meantime I finished the wedding afghan for my best friend!  I also finished a polymer clay covered candle holder.  We'll see what else I can get done in the near future.  And I'll get pictures posted ASAP.

Now that my JFAM partner has received, I can share the ami I made her:

plus the beanie I made Master Four for Solstice:

I also made my best friend a beanie two days ago: (shown modelled by a reluctant Master Eight)

and a beanie for charity last night:

I Love your monkey, katara! That reminds me-
I made a digital Christmas card from a photo of the original sock monkey pattern! My Publisher file was laid out like this, and fits perfectly to cut apart. I may go back and insert a light background behind the text to get the text to pop up.

Thank you for this idea KLKingGrin

Another entry: Wearable items

I knitted myself a Twirl Scarf  Cheesy

Silvermoon - The ami and beanies are very nice! I especially like the Master Four Solstice beanie!

I finished a quilt this weekend and I made a wipes case yesterday.  Hopefully I can get pics up this evening - I'm so bad about remembering to do that

Silvermoon - great beanies - my kids would love the toothless one!

Katara - that's a cool scarf, I like the minty color of it

Cute beanies, SilverMoon!  And I love that scarf, cursive!

Yesterday we had my niece's birthday party.  I put together a dress up box for it.  I made some of it, and bought the rest after halloween on clearance and from the thrift store.  The box with a hit and I'm excited to make more to add to it for christmas.  Her older cousin was having fun playing with all the stuff, too and his mom told me he would enjoy somthing like that too.  So, I guess I better get started on a new boy style dress up box for him for christmas!  hehe!  Well, here are the items that I made:

Adjustable yarn wig braids.

Felt crown and wand

Super Hero costume, including cape, felt cuffs, and felt mask.

Felt mustache

And a wizard cape.

Also, one of my partner's (Kimbles) received in the felt badge swap.  She said I could use the pictures she took, since I only got crappy phone pictures of them as they were heading out the door.

A horde symbol badge from World of Warcraft

A NES controller

I'm so crafty, I make babies!  Baby Bean 2.0 born 6/1/16
