QueenNinjaMonkey: Ice King needlepunch!!! Like.. WOAH. lol

SilverMoon: Skyrim helmet is amazing. OH freaked out when he saw it! And the Hoot hat! AWWWW Cheesy

sheepBlue: Oh my glob. BARNACLES?!! My mind exploded when I saw that. *squee* What did you do with them?? (I did look over your lovely blog but didn't see an explanation)

Congrats meleriffic!!! She is adorable Smiley

mama24boyz you have a real cutie too!

All the glorious amis that have been created in the past month and a half are so adorable I want to eat them up! There have been so many awesome projects during my hiatus that I just want to express a collective OooOOOO to everyone! You all rock!

Also, I am a "spoonie" too Smiley

I had my thesis defense two weeks ago which went excellent and submitted the soft copy to the school today! Light at the end of the tunnel. I'm starting to get my life organized again and hope to be crafting very soon. *cough* probably TWO new corsets in the next few weeks Wink The one thing I have been working on is my online portfolio which is done except for my "About me" page. Once I finish that I will link in here as that is one of the most important things on my project list! Unfortunately my boss called me on my birthday last month and told me to start looking for another job so it was also imperative that I immediately started putting everything together. No biggie, just a few years of work to condense into a cohesive design! lol Really, I couldn't be happier with how it looks right now. Smiley

Yay I am ending today with having read through 80 pages of your posts. I go to bed with a smile!

I have pics to share from the Crochet Motif swap but other than that nothing to share. The rag rug is taking forever as I only work on it in the evenings. Day time has been the time for trying to get my messy house tamed! Hubby and I have been very thorough in getting rid of too many coats and shoes, hats & bags, too many books, films and cds but the craft stuff I am struggling to let go  Wink I did give my Mum a pair of knitting needles.....it's a start, right?

here are two of them, the photos of the other five don't want to upload Angry[/s]

Smashu - Ummm the barnacles are in a box right now haha. I mean to actually sew them onto the forms at some point but in the picture they were all pinned on.

And congrats on the mini documentary you were in! I watched it off your blog and it was great  Cheesy

Smashu, congrats on the well received thesis! Good luck!

Kookalo, those are nifty crochet motifs. For some reason the triangular blue piece is making me think of Star Trek (maybe I'm thinking of the little communicator pins on their shirts?)...then I got to thinking about a craft swap group on the Enterprise-hey, I'm sure if one's on a long interstellar voyage, you'd need stuff like that. Hmm, Bones with a crocheted coffee cozy...
Yes, odd train of thought! I do like the variety of crochet.

kookla star--I miss that craftalong...I think I will dust off the book and join in after I get the land ready for the garden...it would be nice to sit out and crochet as I watch the flowers and veggies grow!

I love them all and just want to make every single one in that book!

mama24boyz---omg--what a darling girl!  The pin is nice, too! Wink  10 of them, eh?  I bet you are having fun making things for your girl!

mellybelly--good to see you--know you have been busy with your home projects!  It is nice to take a break and craft a bit but then you have to get back to it! Cheesy

smashu--congrats!  You worked very hard!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

The ones I get back from Mary Ann I will (hopefully) join up to make a cushion cover. I don't know what everyone else in the swap plans to do with theirs.

Oh my gosh, you do tickle me!  Cheesy

Maybe when things settle down for me here, I could help you organize a Star Trek swap?
