oh rottenlittleboys!  Good news that your hand is feeling better!  It seems a lot of members are experiencing issues with shoulders, hands, and knees!

sarahj2001--I am in love with your colorful yarn!  The Electric Strawberry looks so fun!

Ffrogg562--your poly clay bottles are lovely!

Kookla-what a great job on your doll!  I love the expression on her face. And, all the added details--like the cute bracelets!

QNM--I know they must be simple to make, but I love the sponge thingies! Cheesy

Which Michaels is moving, Ffrogg526?  Love your clay skills, those bottles are great!  I made my first doll earlier this year, too, Kookaloo_Starr.  I'll have to look for that book at my library, nice job.   Smiley

rottenlittleboys - during the summer when we're breaking record highs consistantly here in North Carolina...  yes, yes I do.  lol  Cheesy

Oh yes dear, we are getting the same weather just to the north of you. But most of Virginia lost power not last Friday but the Friday before that. I'm surprised more people have not been seen naked here. And I am not certain anyone would have had the energy to care if they saw them.  Wink

Thanks AIMR, my hand problem stemmed from where I worked at JoAnn's for years. Smiley

I agree rottenlittleboys...working at a fabric store is death to ones hands.  2 years a a Fabricland more then 10 years ago and my hands have never been the same.  So be nice to your fabric store workers people.  It's a much harder job then it seems at first glance.

My heart goes out to everyone who is deep in this terrible weather.  I've never been fond of heat and this sounds like a nightmare.

I made my first Christmas stocking.  It was mostly successful, in that It's an excellent size for a stocking:

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) it's also an excellent size for my foot:

fantasticmio - very cute! I believe that way back when they just used their socks, so I would say it's the perfect size! Wink

Oooo I love all the yarn projects, sarahj2001!  They are so beautiful!

Wow, those are such beautiful patches, sheepblue!  I'm quite in love the holy hand grenade!  Makes me want to do a whole monty python themed bag!  ^_^

katara, love the spiders!  They are creepy and beautiful all at the same time!

My partner, Averia, in the OWS 83 received the shirts I sent her so now I can share 'em with you!

She liked the antlered cat shirt I made for teachart, so I made one for her in a different style.  ^_^

And a Serenity shirt that she had pinned.  I knew my husband would love it, too, so I made one for him as well.  ^_^  All three shirts were done using the freezer paper stenciling method and fabric paint.

Love the Serenity shirts Jillybeans  Grin

Your Xmas stocking/sock looks very soft & comfy Fantasticmio, I would make another to match and wear them round the house  Grin

Ffrogg - I love to see laundry drying on the washing line and hate to have to use the dryer in summer. We've had so much rain recently I haven't had the choice and miss that line dried feel!

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best

The snake bubble blowers are a water bottle with the bottom cut of and a sock pulled over that end and rubber banded on. Then you just dip it in some dish soap mixed with water, we tried food coloring too but it really didn't show up.

The sponge balls are just dollar store sponges cut into strips and tied together.  Wink
