Ffrogg526 - so glad they figured out what was wrong!! It's so frustrating when they keep looking in the wrong direction!  Good luck with the surgery!  And I know what you mean about the left hand thing - I burned several fingers on my right hand and trying to do things with my left for just a few days was really difficult!!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I'll be thinking about your Ffrogg.  I bet it was a little relief when the doctor said it wasn't caused by or made worse by crafting!  Not on your same level, but I had my dominate hand in a cast and then splint for about a total of 2 months, you'll learn to do stuff with your opposite hand, it's just frustring

Good luck!

oh fFrogg---best wishes on a speedy recovery!  It is amazing what can be done now...

poor thing!

Mel--I hate ordering from Spoonflower because as soon as I do, I see something I want even more! Cheesy

I think I am addicted to all of the bird fabrics...I have several pieces with no idea what to do with them yet... Cheesy

I recently bought some Dr. Who fabric that I want to use to make a skirt...most expensive handmade skirt ever... ha ha

always -  I've seen several Doctor Who spoonflower corsets and dresses at conventions and I always covet them and compliment the person (as much on the outfit as their good choice in fabric).  Can't wait to see your skirt!

Thanks everyone.  Yeah, like I said, dominant hand and all.  But I agree with SheepBlue....  Hopefully I'll become more ambidextris.  It was funny...  just dawned on me this morning "how am I going to use a fork with my left hand?!"

Good luck with your surgery. If it's any relief at all some countries (like mine) most people use a fork with the left hand & knife with the right  Smiley

Wow, that's a bummer Ffrogg. So glad that it's fixable. Bummer that it's by surgery. Best of wishes from your crafty friends.
