The jewelry box is lovely!  I know she loves it!

Those spoons are fantastic...I have never seen anything like them...also, the paper flowers are lovely--it give me an idea for a random act of kindness next month!

Love the stretchy bra...I think it is wonderful to wear pretty things even when most people never seen them...it is a secret joy!  Great job!

I should have my computer at home today to be able to post long awaited flowers...we have ONE more week to get projects done for February!!!

Am I the only one on this list who's not into the Doctor? I know of it and am a fan of Torchwood, but never really been into Dr Who. Plus I think the new Doctor looks a little creepy.

You are not alone. I know nothing about it.  Undecided  I just know I see a lot of it on Craftster.

Me too.  Huh

Me three. But I so enjoy Torchwood. Love me some Captain Jack!

I actually tried to get into the Doctor.  I love Firefly, Once Upon a Time, Buffy, Angel, Charmed, and Sci-fi/Fantasy novels are my lifeline but...  I just couldn't get into Dr. Who.  I may try again sometime.  I do have to admit though, that some of our Dr. Who fans here in craftster make some lovely tardis crafts!  There are really some that just blow me away!

Trier here as well.  Although after reading some of the posts here, I think it might be because I tried to start with the first doctor (2005 version, not 1960s).  I enjoyed it, but not enough to throw myself into the series and keep watching.  I never made it through the first season.  Undecided

It does take a while to get going in the first of the new series. Towards the end of season 1 & the start of season 2 was when I got hooked on the new ones.

On the crafting front I have just finished 10 x embroidered bibs for a car club we are in because they don't have any baby stuff. A few more days & I'll upload all my Feb crafts in one go

I don't watch t.v.  Just old movies. We collect them by the bag full at thrift stores.   So, I', a little In the Dark regarding a lot of the modern Character Crafting!
But, I am always one to encourage creativity, learning and being cleaver with your hands!    Wink
Cry As for my hands, they are aching and sore from a week of working over hard, rocky ground. We live in a mobile home community for seniors(I'm allowed to live with Mom, as a helper) and we are right against a mountain called "Stony Mountain" Let's say I've been sifting rocks out of the garden area about a week!  The sun is out, and the time is perfect here.  Cheesy
Grin I just got my seeds in the ground. LOT's of herbs, two squashes, eggplant, two kinds of tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, pansys, lettuce, and even a baby Desert Willow Tree.  Next will be some red bell peppers, then flowers around the borders for mom.   Pictures will come!
Also, recently I saw my dad in California. I had sent him a pair of watercolors showing this mountain in spring. It was painted in 2005. I Confiscated it, because he had it laying on a shelf collecting dust.  Sad Here is a scan... The size is larger, a lot of detail lost by the scanner. But, You will get the idea:And, my colors were a bit animated, deliberately. There are two paintings, showing the panoramic  view. This is one of them.
I'll get some garden photos, now that most of the dirty work is done!

I've been under the weather and not feeling up to the computer time so what happens, I miss 11 pages.  I've skimmed it all.  Yet more truly amazing projects from you all.  I have been crafting so I'll try to get some pictures up soon.  Good job all!

I haven't been responding (pretty much at all) because it just gets overwhelming when I have to catch up on 10 pages at a time... but I've been stalking the board a lot and felt like chiming in finally.

That painting is wonderful :] I'm terrible with watercolors, but you did a fantastic job!

The spoons are also really pretty! And I LOVE the idea of using book page flowers for a wedding! Super cute Cheesy

And on the topic of Dr. Who, EVERYONE should watch it! It's such a great series once you get into it. Also, I was in the DW swap, so maybe I'll count that project as one of my 50 (since it's been a slow year for crafting so far...) So I give you, number 9. It's actually got more depth than this shows (the drawing is more forward than the rest)

I think I'm also going to count all my drawing homework from this quarter as one project, so at the end of the quarter I'll probably share most of those.

I love my new socks  Cheesy straight off the needle and on to my feet!
The yarn is a cotton/elastic mix and is quite stretchy, I was expecting to end up with one big sock and one small one because I'd pulled the yarn too tight  Roll Eyes I've never used stretch yarn before. This pair took just over one skein, I had to start a new one for the last 12 rows.
My first time doing "magic loop" - I like it, I could never manipulate dpns properly and keep everything straight and even.

14/50 so far, I think I'm off to a pretty good start  Wink
