Your paintings are beautiful, you are clearly very talented. I'd happily pay to have any of those on my wall. Congratulations on this amazing achievement!

Your work is so beautiful! And thank you so much for sharing your technique, too!

Those are so stunning. I especially love "Love", the seasons, and the sparrows. But, they are all so beautiful!

Thanks so much, everyone! I am totally one of those people whose soul is recharged by accolades and atta-girls, so you all are making me feel wonderful! Seriously, posting my projects on Craftster is my drug of choice, LOL! Smiley

I'm so deliriously thrilled that I've received such positive feedback! I've always loved all kinds of art and crafts, and when I was little, I would always say I wanted to be a musician/painter/glass blower/landscape designer/fashion designer/wood turner/photographer/silversmith when I wanted to grow up. I still can't be relied upon to pay the bills on time, remember mundane appointments, or do laundry, but hey- I can whip you up a new outfit or paint your portrait instead, so isn't that worth something?

It was kind of funny at the show, because I don't really consider myself to be an artist, since I have no formal training. I have a friend whom I do consider a "real" artist, who has an art degree, teaches art, and creates some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen, and she came to my show. I said something about a "real" artist who came in and had nice things to to say, and she scolded me about "what makes someone a "real" artist, anyway? It's not the degree that makes someone an artist, it's the art they create, so stop selling yourself short!" It really meant a lot to me that she would consider me a "real" artist, when I admire her so much for actually being a "real" artist, lol.

Anyway, enough waxing poetic. Thanks again, everyone! All the positive feedback I got on my previous posts really helped encourage me to create this collection, and realize that I'm good enough to be proud of my arts. Whenever I'd get stumped on a piece or get discouraged because I didn't think it was any good, I'd go back and read everyone's comments to remind myself that I really can do this. I can't express how much you all have warmed my heart! <3

This entire post engrossed my every sense of what it is to have the inert ability to create our own little masterpieces. Your works are just amazing. The natural flow in each painstakingly-created piece looks so effortless (much like your fantastic description says). I equally enjoyed your sharing of the show! I really am equally as inspired by your displays of your work. Your gallery is a schmorgasbord (sp?) of eye candy! Your artistic vision and the way you execute what you see on the tablet is just beautiful. Epicly so, IMHO.

Your pieces are stunning.  I love that they're so bright and organic looking.  It's obvious that you have so much talent.
I'm a bit jealous of all the people that got first dibbs on the originals. Cheesy  Not saying that I could actually afford one, but a girl can dream, right?

Congrats on your show and on your success!  I can't wait to see what you do next.
