My husband and I were the King and Queen of all Cosmos for Halloween this year.  If you've never heard of the game Katamari Damacy, then I'm sure these costumes look really bizarre!

Every piece of this costume was handmade save for the gloves.

That's a Katamari ball in my hands.  In the video game, the Katamari ball picks up items as you roll over them, so throughout the night I kept pinning items to it.

The Headpieces were made from foam, fabric, felt, paint, wire, and soda bottles.  And, believe it or not, they're pretty lightweight and don't take any effort to keep balanced.  The only problem I had was constantly running into doorframes when I would forget to turn my head to the side.

The Lion head medalion was made from molding clay.  It was a little heavy, so I superglued some safety pins on the backside for more support.

Cool! It's rare to see the The Queen of All Cosmos, so it's nice to see the king and queen being done together.Smiley
