I'm still working on my mother's gift and looking for a pattern for a leaf I can use to accent little lilac flowers I plan to group together. I'm using Miyuki Delicas and looking for something probably with a peyote stitch or similar. Thanks =)

I hate it when my party can't start cause Ke$ha didn't walk in.

Thanks =)

I may just use the last one. I had seen the Russian stitch one when trying to find some patterns myself, which I may use for some other stuff (it's really neat looking!)

It's hard finding a leaf pattern that looks like a lilac leaf, so drawing out my own is probably the best plan.

I just bought a very sweet little monkey pin, about 2-1/2" tall. I want to pin him on a good sized beaded banana leaf and I just happen to have some molded glass bananas (and pineapples, etc.) for embellishment. I like to do projects that are a bit out of the way............and maybe odd to some.

What I need is a pattern for a banana leaf, doesn't matter what stitch...............have  you ever seen one anywhere? I'd prefer free, but will pay for one if I have to.

Can anyone help me out here?

Hope you have completed your mother's gift. But if you have not completed yet then I would like to suggest you one thing that in place  of leaves you can use different colored feathers or for leaves can use green feathers because this will give a unique look to your gift. I have made a gift using the feathers and everyone liked that. So, you can try for this.
