Two years ago, I searched online and asked about yo-yo quilts. Finally, I finished the thing. It's a flower pattern with pink backing and a polka dot border.

I used some craft store fabric, and some old blouses from different family members. There's even a silver shirt I wore as part of a Halloween costume when I was 5 years old, blouses from my grandmothers, craft fabric I had from elementary school, old sheets, antique store vintage fabric, and a random collection of fabric. The backing/border is a polka dot sheet.

The picture shows it just before I sewed the backing and border together..  but, it's finally done! It's a lot brighter than this in person.

Thanks! Smiley It definitely took a while, but I was thrilled to be done with it. Now I want another yo-yo quilt.

Fun!  I love quilts where the fabric has a meaning.

Thanks guys. And thanks eowynt for reading about it. Smiley It was a fun one to make, and a lot of the fabrics are from old family clothes or even Halloween costumes.
