I took a class from a national teacher this summer and finally got the quilt finished up. It will be a Christmas gift for my MIL!

I used all Kauffman batiks in a range of blues and greens. I really love the watery effect I got from how I put it together.

My lovely long arm quilter scaled down a meander pattern for me so I could get the tight quilting I had dreamed of.

The backing is just a plain light blue that shows off the quilting nicely. I also used several different batiks to make the binding. I haven't done this before and I really like the results.

Thanks for looking!  Grin

I love this one.  The rippled quilting is perfect with the cool watery batiks.
