I'm not really sure where to post this so apologies if I've picked the wrong place. My nephew has asked for money for his birthday and rather than just give him money I wanted to make him something. So I made a money tree.

The background is grey felt and there is a hem at the top so it can be hung on the wall if he likes it.

I've done scalloped edges on the green fabric for the tree. The red apples are fleece and each contains a pound coin.

I've then done a simple backstitch for the wording.
