Now, sewing is all well and good.  I enjoy doing it and currently have a purse, a shirt and a few skirts that I made myself.  But, when it comes to bags, I prefer a different medium.  I enjoy making chain... well, everything!  I've made a chain bra, jewelry chains, I've wrapped stones and mirrors in chain, et cetera.  I've done one chain bag previously.

and I even took the time to make a tutorial for it.  Now I want something... Different.  I think I'm going to make a small makeup bag (All I wear is lipstick, chapstick eyeshadow and occasionally eyeliner, so it doesn't need to be big at all.) but I can't decide how I want to do it.  I'm trying to decide which patterns would be easily translatable into sheets of chain (I'm basically weaving the shapes that would be cut and using rings to stitch it closed, but some shapes are hard to achieve with maille.)  and I've decided that I want to use a very shaped bag.  Now, at this point I could do just about anything with it. (I've got one face piece started and the bottom started.)

So, I was thinking I could try a boxy pouch.

or maybe the triangle-y pouch in the 5th post

I just want a bag with a little more shape to it this time.  And unlike my wallet, I plan to line this bag.  I know enough about sewing and pattern making that I feel I can create a lining easily enough.  So, thoughts?  Suggestions?

I'd like to do a zipper with this one, but I'm also open to other clasping ideas.  (Last time I'd planned to use a zipper and it didn't fit, so I'm hoping this time is different.  If not, this part will be important.)
