In my head, it's unacceptable for me to re-use a single costume for different Halloween events in the same year.  Thus, the flower bird mask was born (inspired by this and this).  Bolstered by this tutorial, I set out with plastic bottle and papier mache (note: whole wheat flour does not a good glue make).  Finishing touches were added with paint, flowers, ribbon, and seed beads.  Total cost: 3.99 (needed the beads and flowers, everything else on hand)

edit: fixed coding (I hope!)

Your links don't work for me, but I see Blodeuwedd, welsh legend of flowers and owls in your mask.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Thanks for the heads up!  I fixed the coding so they should work now Smiley  And I've never heard of Blodeuwedd, but I can see it too (what an interesting story!)
