I have a plastic shoebox full of glass tiles of all shapes, sizes and colors. I have done a mosaic cross and used clear glass to press four leaf clovers in a decorative piece of jewelry but there must be more than mosaics and tiny picture frames I can make out of this. Any ideas, and I don't own a kiln otherwise I would probably not be asking this question. Cheesy

Love the Pillsbury Dough Boy, too cute.

Have you thought about purchasing a small microwave kiln? You could
make small jewelry items and other trinkets. I've been using mine for
a few months now and having great fun with it.

Perhaps tossing a bit of the glass into a rock tumbler, then when it
comes out nice and frosty, wrap it in wire for jewelry?

Just a few thoughts. Hope this helps,

More than mosaics?Huh Who needs more than mosaics!!! Cheesy There's sooooo much you can do with mosaics. Everybody's Christmas gift last year for me was a mosaic coin bank. I drilled slots in the tops of large jars, then did personalized mosaics on the jar and spraypainted the lid pretty colors. It was a big hit. You could also get some small stepping stone molds and make mosaic coasters (might want to invest in a box of Diamondcrete if you go that route). I did an Instructable on how to do mosaic portraits, you could do something like that if you have lots of the same color to work with. You could also get blank wooden boxes and stuff from Michael's or Hobby Lobby and make magical jewelry boxes, etc. I have more but I have to go to work now...

make lawn/garden mosaic stones. Start with a stone, mosaic and grout. simple and outdoorsy..

you could also do this in molds or with standard side garden blocks to get cool ideas.

Have you thought about doing glass vases? glass on glass is cool!
