I think this is a great idea, giving critiques and suggestions, asking other crafters for advice, getting tips.  I so often show people what I have created and by now I can tell the genuine like and the like because I am showing the item to them.

I have been working on my website for a while and would truly like some feedback on the layout, presentation, and how easy is it to navigate through.

The website is www.elizanne.ca

Perhaps you could divide up your sales categories a bit, 17 pages of wading through is quite a lot. Maybe a page for bookmarks, a page for accessories, a page for jewellery e.t.c.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Don't underline anything unless it's a link to somewhere. That's like common internet language now. Underlined = link. So on the home page where you have categories in blue, since they're not links, remove the underlining.

If possible, put some pictures on on the home page.

On your featured product page, there is no link to go to buy the item.

The "on sale" items are confusing. We don't really know what the original prices were, and I couldn't be sure if "bracelets" were on sale, or if the sale items were directly under the "for sale" category when I got to bracelets and changed the category.

Nice to have a calendar!

Overall the site is pretty easy to follow along, so there's no reason why anyone would get frustrated and leave. That's half the battle!

Wow, thanks.  I missed the ones about underlining and the links on the featured page.  Even after up-dating it today, I didn't notice.

Your advice was great and I will work on implementing it.

Thank you Antidigger.  The suggestion was something I was thinking of and you have just confirmed to me that I do need to do something.  Your category suggestions are great, and I will be keeping them handy while I work on rearranging the catalog.  It is a form site so I will need to get creative about how I condense things - but creative is what we are so I am sure I can do it.
