Here are a couple of pictures of the doll house I made. I have zero wood working skills, so it was a challenge. It came from a "kit," which was really just sheets of plywood and a blueprint. I had a kind of fun time, but I always wanted a doll house since I was a child and never had one.

Yes, that is Mellisa and Doug furniture Roll Eyes My next task is to make some furniture and soft goods, like rugs, curtains, bedspreads.

Here is the inside, no kitchen in this picture yet.

I usually do crazy stuff, so it is kind of odd that the doll house is so traditional. It is what I wanted as a child and I am so happy I have one now.

It's beautiful, I can see it will get more an more detailed over time.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Good job!  I like that you have made it traditional.  Are you going to get doll people to put in it?  You have inspired me to look into making one of these.   Smiley

Totally cute! I had a kit when I was a kid, but my mum and I never made it. Sad I sold it at a garage sale years later. You'll have so much fun decorating this!

So pretty, love the wallpaper and beaded curtain!

Now I want to crack open my kit...

I find that crafts are very good time wasters. If they aren't for you, then you are one of those rare individuals who know what you're doing!

Love it!!! That's a bit rude about the ply, I thought they'd at least cut it for you!

I love doll houses (and all things miniature), I've been searching for a lovely and traditional style doll house for the last few months.. I might have to start looking for a kit since yours turned out so fantastic.

Ill weave your names into my ribcage; lock your hearts inside my chest.
Regain the passion I once carried; do away with all the rest.
I tore the sickness from your bodies; smashed its head against the bricks.
I made a castle from its bones that you may always dwell in it.
