It's amazing how everyone came up with so many variations for this cute critter shape.

I received my package from waterbaby today--here she is, Birdwatcher Critter!!  I just love the bold print on the fabric--and it's pink, my favorite color!

In this first photo she is surrounded by all the goodies that came with her:  an oriental bag full of the sugar-free hard candy I requested (I'm enjoying a mint right now!), and three large pieces of striped fabrics (also a request...love them all, especially the bright one in the back!).

Here's the back view--wow!  Lots of piecing and stitching went into that!  And can you believe how cute the hat is??  It is crocheted, with little ears worked right in!  Waterbaby has offered to teach me to crochet (long-distance), and I may be taking her up on her offer!

A close-up view of her hand-stitched birdy friend

I love everything, waterbaby, thanks so much!  You put a lot of thought and effort into it, and I really appreciate it!

I love how the button eyes seem to be smack in the center of a flower giving such a cute expression to her/him.

I just received the most amazing monsterific package from JLedbetter! Pictures tomorrow!! Cheesy Thank you, thank you! This has been a great swap!

Pictures please Smiley

Sorry! I got stuck at work all day! Looks like I have to use artificial light (boo!)

I'll most likely take new ones tomorrow during the day time when I have good light again. I really hate artificial lighting.. Sad

He's actually a bright white, but the lighting.. yeah. Roll Eyes

MY new super cute yeti like critter!!! I love him so much! And he has the cuuutest little tail!

I mentioned that my boyfriend is in the army and she made me some Mr. and Mrs. army nomnoms. They have their very own dog tags!

Thank you so much, JLedbetter! I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful and awesome package. <3

how cute is that birdwatcher?!
I love the fabric--I love the very different front/back of it. The hat and the bird slay me! mamarose22--you are right. it is remarkably FULL of facial expression. Somehow, I don't know, it reminds me of Diane Keaton in Annie Hall!
