So I order ACU fabric from a friend who owns a military supply store and I buy in 10 yard increments. I usually end up having several bits and pieces leftover so I pulled out a Simplicity Pattern from my stash. I don't have the envelope here on my desk but I think the number is...2205 or 2250.

It's a bit wonky and i messed up on the topstitching because of some hasty cutting, measuring, pressing but I have this weird thing where if I start a small project that shouldn't take long and it gets to be 1,2,3 am...I HAVE to finish it. So i blew through it.

I also have this bad habit of forgetting to mark my fabric (fold lines, pleats, etc.) which is another reason this turned out pretty funked up.

and one last thing lol, sorry, i'm my biggest critic.

you can still see the "disappearing" ink. I usually wait for it to disappear vs. using water. idk, just a preference.

I'm a big fan of the concept of this clutch except once I was already finished I realized that for my personal pref I would have sewn the wrist strap to the other side to make holding and opening it and putting things in/taking things out a little less awkward. it's hard to explain but if you've made this before perhaps you know what i'm talking about?

One of these days I swear I'll start using non acu fabric. I just have a lot of it that i want to use up:s
