Dudes and dudettes! Halloween is a just month and a half away - so why not celebrate yet-another-release of Star Wars by making your own outfit of Jabba's Prisoner for tricks and treating! I talk about how I made my own metal bikini here (far too many photos to load onto this page, and each one has a lot of text!). If I can make one, so can you! Here's a mini recap of my Princess Leia costume.

Leia's chain, created out of dollar store shower curtain rings.

Old, falling-apart winter boots get a fabric facelift and a latex boot topper.

Pieces were sculpted in clay, followed by an ultracal mold and a final positive latex cast.

And best of all, you can accessorize your costume afterwords!

(you might recognize that guy from here)

It IS a little big chilly, so make sure to wear your metal bikini with a nice warm cloak if you're going out on Oct 31st!

wow, just simply in awe of your talent.

"There are days when I think there really is some huge great tapestry of a plan out there and we're all woven into it - this fabulous, complex pattern of life and death, full of recurring motifs and waves of color, and we're each one tiny thread in the weave.
