Will sizes D,E, and F hooks work instead of the ones you listed? Also, will regular shank buttons work for the joints? I just finish a small shirt for my action figure so I am just about ready to poppet. Thank you for being so nice answering my questions.  Grin

I would say the various hooks would work okay. Some people I have spoken too have used normal shank buttons and have had no problem with them. I am so happy that a few have been interested in my version of ghilies adorable poppet. I am looking forward to seeing your one as well as other peoples as they are made.

I do sew but am leery about sewing a poppet. I find it a little overwhelming although I might try it someday.  I think I might do better with crochet.  I do know that crocheting a poppet will take so-o-o much longer.  Thanks for the pattern.  I will also have to try this sometime soon.

I agree, crocheting one is a lil slower. I am just happy that there is some interest in the pattern. And I am looking forward to see other peoples interpretations of it. It is really a very easy pattern.

Hi There Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone had tried my pattern. If so, did you have any problems? Also if anyone came up with any alternate body parts or ideas.

How are you? I have been out of the crafting loop for a long time. I cannot find my printed copy of the crocheted poppet and my pdf is trapped in a computer that wont turn on. Is it possible you could send me a copy as this page says attachment not available. Thank you , sewhappysue,   [email protected]
