My partners seems to have vanished, but the post office says they delivered the package over a week ago so I'm going to go ahead and post pictures.

I actually had a very hard time deciding what really was the small, medium, and large, but in the end I think it worked out (I hope!).

First up, the small (formerly medium):

My partner's favorite class was Defense Against the Dark Arts, and she said in her questionnaire that she liked freezer paper stenciling.  So I drew this out, cut it out of freezer paper, ironed it down (man, I hate letters with little bits in the center! not conducive to stenciling at all!) and voila!  Painted t-shirt.  The only thing difficult is the cutting, which takes awhile when you have a more intricate design.  I wish I was artistic enough to paint freehand, but unless it's a lopsided smiley face, that's not happening.

Next up, the medium (formerly large - just from a cost perspective):

My partner's favorite shop was Borgin and Burkes (the last frame charm actually has their logo).  She said she just liked the general spooky theme of the shop, so I tried to find mostly magical/spooky looking things - you'd think that would be easy close to halloween, but outside of cartoony jack-o-lanterns, I couldn't find ANYTHING.  And we have a JoAnn, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby (all within a block of each other).  Still, I hope she likes it.

Finally, the large (formerly the small, bumped up due to time invested)

My partner's house was Hufflepuff, and she does cross stitch, so I decided to try a variation on the needle book, and instead of fabric or felt pages, I used Aida cloth so she could store her cross stitch needles!  I'd forgotten how long cross stitch takes (and I know I'm not the fastest, because I don't do it that often) - the border alone took close to an hour!  But I'm really, really happy with the way it turned out.  I used all 6 strands of floss on 14 count fabric, which made the design really stiff and raised.

Tragically, one little cross stitch needle sacrificed itself in the making of this book.  It was bent beyond repair.

I'm sorry it took me so long to post pictures - I've been a horrible procrastinator for the past week when it comes to everything. I received a wonderful package included a Slytherin tshirt, Ollivanders sign, my very own Mandrakes, a necklace and a Pygmy Puff. Please note that my Pygmy Puff is not pictured because I have not seen it since the day I opened my package. My kitten has stolen it and hid it somewhere for her own entertainment.

The tshirt:

I love how from the front I still look skinny but the moment I turn sideways I'm nothing but baby belly. Smiley

Ollivanders sign, necklace and Mandrakes in their pot:

Close up of one of the little Mandrakes:

There are four in total but I love her the most. Smiley
