Recently I've been busy making these little Tooterphants - similar in shape to elephants, they have wide trunks which they use to make tooting noises and to suck up their food. They live in groups and enjoy playing together - they particularly enjoy climbing on each other and trying to make as tall a tower as possible. My Tooterphants managed a tower of four in my garden before the wind blew them over! Luckily they are quite bouncy and don't mind falling over.

I used King Cole Splash DK self-striping yarn to make these, which I loved, and I'm really happy with the way all the bright colours look together. I hope you like them too!

Beautiful! I really like the yarn choice! It gives them their own character. Did you make the pattern up? I would love to make a few of these for a friend of mine's son. I think he would just love them!!  Grin
