I had a request from a client to make another Dobby. Since my dolls are one of a kind, I had some reservations about making the same character again. But since they are hand painted, they all turn out different. This doll is a perfect example of this. Besides the obvious socks and hat, his face turned out slightly different.

This shows how his nose turned out hooked this time.

His hat and socks are made from orphan children's socks. I like to recycle when I can. And they ARE clean after all. The dirty appearance of Dobby's pillowcase jumper is due to multiple layers of colored pencil.

Tell me what you think!

Thank you. My next character doll was going to be Snape. But, I'm a little overwhelmed with orders for Dobby right now. He's a very popular loveable creature and there aren't any dolls suitable for child's play available.
I'll take both characters under consideration though. Especially if I get a special order.  Wink
