Second Deodorant House I have made, CLOCK TOWER!
mailed this one off in a personal swap.

From experience in the first deodorant stick house I made, I knew what might be easier, unnessasary, etc. this time around.

clock is a watch that I grew tired of, always had to ask someone to get the back off so I could put in a new battery.

innards...

Real clock parts from an old small alarm clock.

See the two workers, one behind and one reaching from a ladder, doing their best at repairs and upkeep?

some process pics...

gluing inky winky bits of cardboard onto a toothpick to create spiral staircase

thanx for looking!! And thanks to CLM for asking me to post here....

Fantastic clock tower!  It's just so genius to use the deodorant container this way.

So clever! I look at a deodorant container and think, Daily hygiene. You look at it and think, That could totally be a clock tower!

I have been so remiss in posting about this fabulous gift!  I'm so delighted with it! I'm amazed by all of the teeny, intricate details! Such a fabulous job!  I'll be posting about this in the private swap boards today after I get into the office!

I took pictures of this little lovely right away but I didn't realize that I hadn't uploaded them yet, for some reason I thought I'd already posted! I'm so sorry, blu!

Just popping in to say my bestie from childhood made me the faux Airstream dollhouse. It broke a little in transit (Houston to San Francisco) but I will have so much fun putting it back together.

She made it as my dream craft room - fabric, sewing machine, ironing board and iron, a mini quilt. Also came with a record player and albums, books, posters, tea pot and kettle and mini Fiestaware cup and saucer.

She added 3 lights, too! I will play this weekend and try to reassemble and place all of the items and show off some pics. So happy I can join this thread/craft-along. I will make some more stuff!

I finally made a tiny thing! A wee room box with tons of fun details. I used many techniques I learned from this thread. Inspiration too, thank you all so much for the awesome mini worlds you've created Smiley.

I totally looked at Knickertwist's books in this awesome project and also followed (ish) her instructions for making the bookshelf flanked fireplace from her incredible Sherlock matchbook tutorial.
