I've just been reading about the amazing Astolat Doll's house. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3207184/World-s-expensive-dollhouse-crafted-13-years-carpenters-goldsmiths-glassblowers-worth-8-5-MILLION-goes-display-time.html  So many wonderful miniatures. Quite an inspiration. It has given me a lot of ideas.

Ooooo! Very nice!   I wonder how it compares with Queen Mary's Dolls House which a lot of famous artists contributed to, including my crafty idol Ernest.   Wink

I love Queen Mary's dollhouse too. I'd just never heard of the Astolat which surprised me because it is very impressive.

We had the good fortune to see Queen Mary's dollhouse in person last fall in Windsor Castle.  One of the highlights!

Oh WOW! I've only read the last pages of this Thread (you're a chatty lot!! Wink ), but somehow I'm getting sucked into this. But ... hubby would kill me if I'd started yet another hobby ... maybe when my girls are a bit older ... who knows. But for now I'll be following this thread (and look at all those other miniature threads on craftsters, I'm sure! Wink ).

Now one question popped into my mind ... do you decorate your doll houses according to the seasons? Christmas, Halloween etc?

If I had a dolls house, it would always be Halloween!  Wink
