Got a batch of chocolate mint soap done today. Hopefully it will turn out and be cured by the time the gift giving starts. Now to make some bath salts. I found some cute glass containers with screw on lids at the Dollar Tree that I think will work well for the bath salts.

I'm still crafting for my daughters. Not sure how much I will get done  Embarrassed

I am now getting together a list of stuff to get at the grocery store so I will have my baking and candy making done.

I'll be baking this weekend as well. My husband is going on a hunting trip in TX the week of Dec. 12 with his dad and brother. He's already asked for goodies for them. I have great In Laws so I'll make sure that they get spoiled. Wink

Does anyone know if you can make the Christmas Crack recipe in half batches?

I'm baking this weekend as well, but mostly just because I love Christmas baking. And Christmas Crack? Never heard of it, but I'm definitely going to google it soon!  Cheesy

My family decided on Black Friday that we're going to do a secret santa exchange with my aunt/uncle/cousins&SO's this year for Christmas. My initial thought was... you couldn't have planned this a little bit earlier?  Roll Eyes I decided to stick to my plan of a completely crafted Christmas, so I spent my money on some nicer supplies than I'm using for other gifts (boo for student/car loans!). Anyway, I'm making her (I drew my oldest cousin C who's 31) a scarf. The main part is a deep purple baby alpaca yarn (SOOO SNUGGLY!!!), then I'm weaving a silvery merino wool through it. Possibly making a flower out of the wool to add to it, but I'm not sure yet. Because the yarn is so nice, I've been really motivated to work on it, so it's almost finished!  Smiley

I'm also adding a red throw blanket to my to-do list. My church has a thing called a "Giving Tree" that has tags on it for you to take and then bring the gift back where it will go to a local charity. The card I suggested said "18-year-old girl, red throw blanket." I checked to make sure that handmade would be okay, and I'm good! That's probably about 1/4-1/3 of the way done.

My list is totally chaotic.First have to find the !@#$#@ christmas lights for the tree  Roll Eyes.Don't know what my dh did with them  Undecided. Then make a ornament for the tree  Grin.I do this each year.I already made my dh & mom scarves this year. But I don't know what else to make  Sad.My mom doesn't need clothes of any kind. And my dh is impossible to do anything for  Roll Eyes.So I guess that will be it this year unless I can think of something else. And its only 23 days til christmas day  Cry.

My list isn't too long, but I'm freaking out anyway

Dad: bought, but I still need to make something extra
Step dad: I'll let my mom pick that out
Step brother: dead fish hat

Sam: bought, but I have to make her a small extra, maybe a crochet robot?
Rachel: I have to make her a kiwi scarf, haven't figured out how yet...
Sofia: I have no idea, I have to make it original, she insists
Katie: not sure, an ornament hat I found here once perhaps?
Kaylee: no clue, something cute
Nathan: made him a dead octopus hat
Meghan: a scrap braclet, and extra
Tim: idk, something clever, or funny Huh

Ideas welcome

I still have a bunch of stuff to make for Christmas presents.

Mom: Crochet footsies (have yet to start)
Step-dad: Chrochet Afghan (started, but still need to finish it)
Step-sister: Crochet afghan (again, started but need to finish it)
Niece: crochet doll (almost finished... one leg left to make & put it together & make the dress) -- also made her a strawberry shortcake hat since she likes her
Step-sister: home made candles (have yet to start this)
Step-brother:  Huh have not figured his out yet...ideas would be greatly appreciated please (his age: around 30)
Step-brother:  Huh again, have not figured his out yet...ideas would be greatly appreciated please (his age: in his 30s)
Nephew: crochet baseball cap (need to put finishing touches on it) and making him some fabric stuffed animals of Manny & the tools from Handy Manny
Baby niece: crochet hat w/ crochet flower (have to sew on the flower) & crochet bunny (have to make the little dress)
Aunt: crochet angel bookmark (have not started yet)
Friend: fabric Bible cover (have not started yet) -- was going to make one for her mom too, but I doubt I'll have time.

Wow. That's a long list for it being Dec. 3 already. And, all that on top of my last couple of college class assignments & pulling out Christmas stuff still. Guess I'd better go get busy right now. lol At least the afghans are easy and the crocheting goes pretty quickly, so they shouldn't take too long to finish. It's just a matter of taking the time to sit and work on them for a while. Going to go get started now. Good luck to everyone on getting their Christmas crafts/presents finished in time.
