That jewelry is exquisite! Makes me wish I could wear necklaces and earrings!!!
Awesooome Ood! How did you do his mouth tentacle thingys? (I don't know the proper term for them)

Thank you! I got a bit carried away with the necklace I planned on a few simple beads on a chain with the TARDIS pendant but couldn't decide which beads to use so I went with all of them (note to mightyminniemouse you can remove the extra beaded strings pretty easily to make it more casual for everyday wear- I thought it ended up a bit formal but I liked the idea of having a nerdy but dressy piece of jewelry).
As for the Ood,  I had some embroidery floss that faded from red to pink and I twisted a single strand until it doubled into the little tentacles then tied several together to form a little cluster then when I was happy with it I used a bit of white glue to make sure it didn't unravel and glued it on. I had planned to make the angel and maybe a Doctor peg doll, but got into my stash and found the floss and I just thought it would well work for the Ood- who I was trying to work into the package somehow as my partner mentioned them as a favorite. The tentacles were the easy part the face of the Ood was tougher I couldn't get the eyes the right shape and place and until I figured out I could draw the eyes on paper and decoupage them on- I repainted the face 3 times before I thought to do that Wink. I never did find the right way to make a communicator orb thingy, I tried using beads but they didn't glue on to the curved surface of the pegs well. I am still working on that...

Well sadly my partner disappeared for this swap but on a brighter note the awesome and amazing ChameleonHound stepped in am Angeled for me. I received her amazing package today and not only do I love everything about it I am in awe of her packing skills.

First an lovely bookmark/card of Rose and the Ninth Doctor.

Back (with one of my favorite quotes)

Some lovely fabric paints in Tardis Blue and Adipose White

Gorgeous Tardis Blue beads

Wait! What is this?

Pull here?

My very own Plush Adipose!

With an awesome embrodiered face!

While this was more than enough my angel went out of her way and went the extra mile. She stalked me well and combined my two loves (anything Burton with Dr Who) and made this handpainted shirt! K-9 is even keeping Zero company.

I am glad to see the Dr enjoyed his time in Halloween Town!

Thank you so much ChameleonHound for stepping up and being my Angel and making this an amazing swap.

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! It was a bit of a challenge getting it all in there, and I'm glad little Adipose made it through the ordeal okay.

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?

OH WOW! That shirt is awesome!!! I might have to make my own to wear on our trip to DinsneyWorld at the end of the month! Super cool idea- I just adore fusing characters and places that I love for my projects- but this one is absolutely epic and I cannot believe I hadnt seen it before! If you are on live journal you should post this to the crafty TARDIS group-- I know they would love it! Great job!!!!! And THANK YOU for being an angel, as someone who has been flaked on ( on my very first swap actually)-- I can't tell you how appreciated angels are to swapping. I know I would have given up after that first one if I hadn't had such a great organizer who found me an equally great angel. So to our organizer and our angel you both are seriously awesome and to the recipient of that amazing package I am completely envious of that shirt!
