I just started painting up shoes, which look fricking wicked! And I was wondering if there are templates out there somewhere for making the bottoms of the insides of shoes? I wanted to take the old ones out, or maybe just glue over the top of them?

I just need templates coz I can't figure out how to gauge the size and shape especially since I'm painting mostly like 6" heels @_@

Any ideas (or clue what I'm talking about?)

Please have a look at my blog Cheesy! It's not much, but it's mine ^_^

Your best bet is to take out the old ones and trace them to make new ones. A lot of shoes are going to be different shapes inside so a universal template won't always work - I know when I get trimmable insoles and just follow the template that comes with them, they're never exactly the right shape. Though for a vague estimate of the size/shape you could pick up a pair of those insoles for the template (I can't find one online... but I didn't look very hard, someone else may have one). I don't know where you live, but around here they're like a dollar or two.
