Hey, once a month's better than me...I don't own one. But then again, I handsew quite a bit; I pretty much have to hand serge, because I don't have access a serger younger than forty, and that one...hates me. A lot. Most of what my partner's going to be getting is all hand done; certain fabrics don't work well on the machines I can borrow, and it's just easier to machine stitch it all. Sooooooooooooooo ready for tomorrow to come around!

Looking forward to finding out who I'm paired with and working out what to make!

I'm feeling a little spolied now having a sewing machine to myself. I've only recently got back into sewing but the way I see it if it comes out wrong I'll remake it. Tongue

I agree, accessories are much easier than clothing as it is more versatile. I know whoever I am paired with might just end up with more than just accessories.  Wink
I own a sewing machine (or two, or three...lol). I wish I could hand sew, but I am horrible at it.

Eh, it's really not so hard once you get a rhythm to it. I learned to handsew in order to quilt, since I carried it around with me all the time to keep my hands busy, because carpal tunnel kills my crocheting. I love the meditative qualities it has, so all my quilts are hand pieced and hand quilted, simply because I love to do it so much. Clothing, though, only the serging's done by hand, and with flat satin ribbon to cover the raw ends with a blanket stitch. Long and tedious, but ultimately very rewarding.

I was totally excited to go to a bunch of shops today once I get my partner so I can start crafting, but I got the freaking stomach flu >.< Hopefully it goes away soon so I can make norovirus-free crafts. I promise to Lysol everything before I get started.  Cry
