Not so long ago I saw this post here on craftster and inmediately fell in love with it. And as my holidays were aproaching, I decided to make my own travel wallet, with specifically the things I need Cheesy And this is what came out!

The wallet has a passport slot, a flight ticket slot and two big pockets on both sides because I adore travelling with tons of printed out stuff (travel itineraries, hotel reservations, train/bus tickets and timetables, map to reach the hotel... you know the drill). It also has a zippered pocket for storing gum/mints, earplugs, and my inflatable neck cushion, as well as a little key holder for the keys to the suitcase lock.

And here it is closed. Keep in mind that it's already been in two travels, including a week at a metal festival, so I'd say it's holding up pretty well Cheesy

I didn't include any space for money and credit cards because I hate the thought of moving everything from one wallet to the other contantly >.< I wanted something that could be used for travelling and then left in the suitcase while I go around being a tourist with a way smaller wallet in my purse Grin

This is a brilliant idea! I just traveled all over the place this summer and got fed up with my bulky wallet not fitting comfortably in my small carry-ons. I will definitely try to make one soon.

The spider fabric is really neat, too. I like how you liked up the spider inside the oval over the snaps Smiley Great job!

I love the fabric! And what a great idea! I usually have to empty out a spare/old wallet for my traveling.

P.S. You went to Wacken? I am SO jealous!

These fabrics get a lot of love! I was instantly striken when I saw them as well Cheesy I got them from the Voodoo Rabbit etsy store, which I strongly reccomend Smiley they answered my questions within the hour, sent the fabric in a fantastic package and it arrived in 5 DAYS (from Australia to Spain, I don't know if I got lucky or if they're actually using magic to send their mail!), AND the prices are low. What else could you ask? Cheesy
