Prototype earring bases for my friend's mother.  She ripped her ear lobe and in order to wear earrings they have to be a bit wide with a wide back so she can pinch them on.  She's asked me to make her some earrings and these are what I've come up with.  Oh, and also a fishy charm.  For luck.  Or something.  Questions?  Comments?  Suggestions?  Waffles?

And more designs! (Have an order for five pairs, now I'm working on designs. =])

I'm assuming they are a front and a back pictured together?  Not sure which part is which on the bottom picture.

Backs aren't shown at all, they are just a standard post made of 22g wire.  Basically just bent the wire at a 90 degree angle from the end then made my shapes.  The second set is one earring base and next to it is a random fish charm that I made while trying to decide what to do with the earrings.

Ah, I see it now!  I like the last couple of pairs you posted, very celtic knot-ish.

That's what the boyfriend said too!  She's liked 3 of the designs so far, now I just need two more.  I'm so close!
