...out of some old T-shirts, lycra (cotton elastane) for the waist band and some fold-over elastic that I had left over from making nappies.

THEY ARE SO COMFY

I've just made another pair where I worked out how to include a double-layered gusset with the entire seam enclosed.

I think I'm hooked!!

I'm thinking about sewing similar for myself as a part of pyjama but I don't know where I can find any pattern... can you recommend me some? ; )

@ClouDesign - I cut up an old pair of undies and traced around each pattern piece. Smiley

Took me a few goes to get exactly the right fit but it's worth experimenting.

As they say, toile, toile and toile again... have fun. Smiley

I love this idea! I have so many cute shirts I like that I think would make awesome underroos for me of course :]
Like a pokemon shirt haha, How long would you say this took you to make? And the skill level involved.

Love! I made my own pair last summer. It did take me a few tries to get it right, but still yours are way better. I guess I need to keep practicing!

madhatteh, these are very easy to do when you do it like sweetpea74 did it (and like i did mine). the required skill level is non existent, if you can sew a scarf, you can make undies. and it takes about the same amount of time Smiley i made mine in like half an hour.
