I'm working on my first poppet based off a rainbow angel kitty and I need some opinions - these are not  'poppet specific' questions, but general aesthetics. (sorry about the crappy pics - the color is off and the angels are bad)  Her eyes are probably too big, but its too late to fix that now.

Ahh - it won't let me post pics yet sorry, you'll have to use links Angry

(ignore the pin through her nose below)

FYI - wings are magnetic & removable

So what are your opinions on:
a) Adding purple eyeshadow?
b) Adding striping around the head (like arms & legs)?
c) Adding pink satin (same as in ears) on nose?
d) Adding pink floss (aka DMC) between toes, fingers & in belly button?
e) I'm sooooo torn about hair - the rick-rack matches perfectly and has a fun curly look but would be a ton of work & would not be able to do different styles, can't find a multicolored yarn that will work and I don't want to buy 6 different ones.  Thinking about one color of yarn with some DMC rainbow braids thrown in - what do you think?

Hi, awesome first poppet!  here is what i think....purple eyeshadow-yes i think that would be very cool on her.i like the striping but not to sure about around the face.i think adding pink floss around the toes, fingers and bellybutton is a great idea.not to sure about the nose.maybe you could use the rick rack as an accent in the hair as it is awesome and matches so well. hope that my opinion helps.i've only made one complete poppets but i have three more in the works. Here is a pic of mine...i used pink eyeshadow on her. Smiley

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at the pics & give your opinions.  I REALLY appreciate it.  Smiley

Your poppet is so sweet and pretty.  What size eyes did you use?
