So this is my ransom note purse, it's all upcycled t-shirts and cotton for the lining.  I cut out the letters from various t-shirts and stitched them to the pink background.  Then I made little mask out of a black t-shirt and put it on the back pocket.  Since, if I were passing our ransom notes so much I needed a bag for them, I don't think I'd want people knowing who I was...
The lining is cotton with a newspaper print of old news stories such as man walking on the moon and Nixon resigning on it.

The handle is made of braided t-shirt strips.

The blue is an extra pocket outside.

The pink inside the purse is a sleeve of a t-shirt that I made into a smaller pocket inside.

As you can tell, Hawaii has just become the 50th US state!

Super clever idea and I love the lining fabric! Do you have plans for all the bits of shirts you have leftover?

I found it on etsy, there's a lot of people selling it just search for 'newsprint cotton' or something like that.
