I have been growing fresh peppermint in my garden thinking I could use it in making lip balm. anyone know how I can make the peppermint into an oil? or extract the pepperminty goodness? thanks for any help!

Your best bet would be to dry it and then make an infused oil. Extracting essential oils requires tons of the base plant and special tools Sad

There's a ton of ways to infuse an oil, one of the more simple ones being to heat your base oil, place your herbs in a clean dry glass jar and pour oil over. Leave for a few days/weeks until oil is the strength you want it and strain out the herbs. You can look up other ways too, I did a quick search and a crockpot method came up!
