Does anyone have a real button maker (I have a "toy" hello kitty one that would not work for this)?  My FIL would like a few buttons for his campaign (he's running for city council) ideally between 10-20, but even just a handful would work.  They are just for volunteers and such, not to pass out to voters or anything... I have 2 pts to spend so I can leave and it would be great if I could use them for this.  I have the artwork he wants used and everything!  PLEASE PM me if you can do this (I haven't been able to check in much here since my computer time is limited, as my laptop has decided it hates me).  Thanks!

I have a button maker! it's a 1" one.

Got my shop up finally. Nothing new. I have startitis recently. I can't finish a thing.

I finally got a chance to ask him and he thinks 1" is going to be too small for his logo/image thing, he doesn't think it will be readable... :/

I am asking again, just in case someone who can help missed the first one (and since now I have a better idea of size/etc)... (sorry, but I need to know so I can get back to my FIL so he can find another way, he doesn't need a whole lot so ordering a bulk order would just be insane and a waste of money, he just wants a handful for his volunteers, 10-20 at most)

I need buttons/badges with pin backs, (not made with a toy button maker, I have one, it does the push in pin backs and they are awful), not a lot (as many as I can get with 2 pts), larger than 1" for my FIL for his city council campaign.  I have the artwork.  The election is the first week of Oct. (and I am only in this round to spend down) so I would like to be able to claim them right away.  Thanks guys!

Soooo...I have a question. My best friend is turning 30 soon and he reeeeeaaally wishes for an Obama campaign Tshirt. He is the kind of guy who really have everything he wants and needs, so it's only stuff like this that's impossible to get a hold of for him that's on his wishlist. The thing is you have to live in the US to buy it as the catch is you're supporting the campaign. So if it should happen that any of you already support or plan to, I really appreciate it if you would PM me! All costs would of course be taken care of! Smiley

On a crafty note. I've been knitting a bit these days. I finished a pair of mittens and a headband for MW and using up some other yarnleftovers to make the row-headbands I had in the shop a while back. I'm also working on a few bigger projects I have lying about. On top of that I'm still working on the going through all my crap - and crafty crap to rearrange and slim down. So if there is anything you need, just say, I might just have it around!

Is it Friday yet?

I am going to work on a wacky stuffed fish thing tonight, it will probably end up in my shop later on.  Is anyone interested in remnants/large scraps of fashion fabrics? I usually hold on to these, but don't really have storage space for them. Right now I have some linen, heavier cotton prints, hemp, maybe one or two other things also.

I still can't chew anything, and went to a second dentist today.  The only thing that he agreed with the first dentist about is that one of my baby teeth (not involved in the ongoing tooth sensitivity problems) looks Bad and may need to go soon  Tongue  And I got a referral to an endodontist (aka root canal specialist) for an evaluation - when I called to make an appointment there, the assistant said "Oh, my" when I told her it was for three different teeth. Ugh.  Anyway, any suggestions on things to eat that don't involve chewing are still welcome, I am getting tired of pudding, soup, and soft tofu.
