everyone's yarns look so lovely!  that yellow one looks soooo soft.
i finally have a couple of yarns to share.

first up some yarn i made for elociNNicole:

black and white wool dyed with grape kool-aid.

this is the 2nd to last of my non-animal fiber sample pack that i've been working through:

honey tussuh silk.  it looked so nice and lovely before i set the twist. then while drying it, it got all squished and flat.   Sad.  but now i know to be more careful next time.

My question is why didn't anyone have any yarns for the past 2 weeks? I was the only post 2 weeks ago and last week I didn't post my yarn because I didn't want to be the only one again. Where my girls at?

This is what I was going to post last week:

~150 yards 2 ply Merino/Bamboo

And this is what I spun at the Farmer's Market on Saturday:

~105 yards 3 ply: BFL/silk blend x 2 and wool
This was all the wool in that color that I had so I then plied the rest of my 4oz BFL/silk rovings into these:

to make ~280 yards

And this is the leftovers from my second Sheep to Shawl entry that won't count because Belladune doesn't like me ( Wink )

the ball on the right has ~180 yards, not sure about the one on the left. 100% local sheep, processed completely by me.

Puppy girl, I've heard that steaming your silk will help it plump some more. You might want to try that. Let me know if you do and how it turns out!

Inle-rah, Lady in white is beautiful! I'm really liking it. Sloppy, thick and thin singles are the best for relaxing. I'm glad you made those.

MLF, Ooh, that close up shot... My mouth is watering.

YELLOW I'm so happy. You should make something for the S2S challenge with it. It did start as white fiber, right?

It did start as natural, but I'm not sure that I want to enter the challenge.

Yay! I haven't been spinning as much as I'd like. I'd go into the list of excuse/reasons, but it's too boring and lame and I'd rather not relive it. But it's nice to see so many pretty yarns!!! Lovely lovely lovely.

Here's 2 I did this week.
This first one is just different colors of merino...

and then this one is spun from a batt I carded out of some alpaca, merino, bamboo and sparkle...

There were a couple other batts I carded and then spun up, but i've knitted them into pieces for my bike cozy. Smiley

Loving all the yarns!

Antsy, that yellow is my favorite this week.  Such a cheery photo!!

That swampy-colored corriedale looks so squishy!!

I think the hot weather is making me not want to spin lately.  I've been embroidering and doing some paper crafts instead.  I can't seem to concentrate on just one craft for too long, but I'll have to get back to spinning soon if I'm gonna have any entry for the sheep to shawl challenge!

I like you just fine. Tongue  Such pretty yarn, and you are much to productive for your own good.
