I've been using Peltex 71 (trimming the seam allowance amount away to reduce bulky business lol) lately and I LOVE peltex (the way it helps bags keep their shape no matter what size, even though I've been making a lot of larger totes) but is there anything I can layer with it to make it a bit smoother. I've tried my iron on different settings and using a press cloth, and i still got the wrinkly spots when I was done. tried craft fuse first and then a piece of peltex but craft fuse wrinkled quite a bit too when turning out.

what do you guys layer Peltex with or are there any tricks to getting it to apply smoothly and stay smooth?

Could your iron setting be too hot? If your iron is hot, then the interfacing can wrinkle. Try lowering your iron setting.
