Here are Craftster guidelines.  Keep in mind that these are normal adult crafting times..it will take a bit longer for kiddos to craft...  (Also remember that these are guidelines; they are not set in stone!  Use your judgment and send a package you/your child would be happy to receive.)

Link to past kids' galleries:

**You must PM me and your partner when you send and when you receive.... that's all part of good communication.  Just posting sends/receives/photos in the gallery won't be considered notifying me or your partner.
**If you are shipping late, you must PM me and your partner ASAP, and before the send out date.
**DCN's will be required.  If you are an international swapper, you MUST keep your shipping receipts.

Be sure to post in this thread at least once a week to foster good communication and to let me know that you're still alive and kicking.  And kids are still crafting the summer away.
Send any communication to the organizer with the subject: Kids Swap 4.

Member receiving will be responsible for risks involved with swap (making sure button eyes aren't swallowed, candy doesn't contain allergens and such horrors not likely, but theoretically possible).  We expect common sense. Wink

*** Due to the nature of this swap, package should be sent to (child's first name) in care of (craftster members name and address)***

Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.

I can't do this now, but I hope it'll still be around in a few years when I'll be able to craft with my niece.

Oh my son would love this, he checks the mail everyday to see if he got anything.   But he's only 2.5 and isn't old enough to craft yet.  Maybe next year! I can't wait to see the gallery.

Yep!  Child, grandchild, niece/nephew, sibling, neighbor - whatever.  If they are in the age range, want to craft, and you have a connection with them to oversee the crafting, then you're good. Wink

This is a pretty broad age range, so just use common sense.  Some things will obviously be more or less applicable, depending.  An experienced 13yo crafter might not need any help with her medium; she might be just as accomplished a crafter as some of us adults.

On the other hand, the questionnaire asks if the child is good at/knows any particular crafts.  If the child doesn't (especially at the younger end of the range), this is totally fine!  I thought some of the middle and older children might have some preferences and wanted a place for them to include that, but if this doesn't apply, feel free to say no or just skip the question. signed up Smiley - wondering, if i could swap with someone else w 2 kids  so it would be 1 box with 2 gifts Smiley  (DD is worried about if one receives earlier tha other and if the package #2 won`t come Cheesy - she remembers one of my swaps, where my partner and 2 angels flaked on me -and i got an amazing angel package from angel #3 Smiley ). So is one family w 2 kids swapping w another w 2 kids OK?
