I made this for my friend's birthday, and then took her out to I <3 Sushi for dinner. I looked up a few different patterns and stole some inspiration from etsy. It was pretty easy, only took one evening, and just used up little bits from my stash. I was very sad at the end when I realised I had no pink yarn to make the pickled ginger. I had to go buy a whole skein of pink just to make the ginger because that's the part we always fight over at the end of the meal!

Ooh, I love the way these turned out!  The colours and shapes are so eye-pleasing.  (And if you're looking for other things to do with pink yarn? To me, that pink is crying out to be made into mini-brains to be eaten by zombie-gurumi.)

So sweet and certainly looking quite delicious! Cheesy I've been pondering the idea of whether to make some crochet food lately. I've never given it a go, but I keep seeing photos on the internet of other people's food creations, and they all look so appealing!
